Is it legal to add a teacher on Facebook once you have left school?

As far as I know, there aren't any laws about not adding teachers, even when you're still one of their students. That's the joy of free speech. However, most Boards of Education have rules in their contracts that teachers aren't allowed to add students; in some cases, this applies for a few years after the student has left the school, just to ensure that the ex-student's friends/younger siblings are out of the school, as well.
The easy way is to add her; if her contract or board rules dictate otherwise, she'll decline and give you the reason.
..lol.. if you're in a private school and they set a rule for teachers.. then yeah cause they sign by contract etc.
but no. there is no law and its legal. its two people being friends on Facebook. no such law against having someone as a friend on Facebook..
lmao
once you graduate (or drop out I guess but at that point I assume the teacher wouldn't want you as a Facebook friend) or they quit or move schools you can legally add them on Facebook. this is for public school I have no clue about private schools
depends... most teachers only accept friend requests after the students have graduated from high school. did you already graduate?

It will be fine, just as long as neither of you has had any inappropriate thoughts. Because if you have, then I'm gonna find out and lock you both up forever. Separately. of course.
LOL.
Its legal to add your teacher even when you are a school. Its up to you.
If he is no longer you teacher then it is o,k to add him as long as you just stay friend
Of course it's legal.
