Do what I do when people I don't want on my Myspace add me but I don't want to offend them because I can run into them around my town. I accept the request then delete them from my friends list that way it won't show them that I denied it. Hopefully she has so many friends she won't notice it and if she does, you can always lie and claim there seems to be a glitch on your FB that is doing that to some of your recent requests or whatever. Or maybe it'll send her the message that you don't want her there without having to say it and she won't even mention it.

Gotta admit, that's such a weirdddddd thing to happen. I think she wants to do you, seriously, she's a cougar, baby! There's no other reason for her to do such a strange thing.

I would just let it sit there so that way she can never see your profile but you can see hers to see how much she uses the website. And also if you leave it there she can't request you again. You could however always put her on your limited settings profile or block her after you add her, and she'll never know.

Can't you try adding her to your limited profile? I know I have been having a hard time with the new facebook but I think there is a way to set your privacy settings so that she is not allowed to see some of your photographs.

I thought the same thing, that it could offend her. Honestly if it was me, to be kind I would put her on limited. If for some strange reason she asked me how come. I would play confussed, like I didn't know and with the new facebook settings I don't even know how to change it. But if she then said she could show me how, then I would be worried because she is definitly up to something.

I was on Facebook, and saw a name and picture of someone I recognized, so I added him as a friend. We had been friends and grown up together, then we lost touch after high school.

The brain fart was actually that it was my former friend's BROTHER, who I barely remember (big family). He now looks like his brother did in high school, and I thought this kid was actually my former high school friend for a few seconds, so I sent a request; then after sending it, realized my old former friend's actual name.

I felt really stupid, and I was surprised I was accepted. Luckily though, my friend's brother and I have a bunch of mutual friends and his family DOES know me, so it's not like I'm a TOTAL stranger. Heh
