Should I add her on Facebook?

So there’s a woman at work who says hi to me every time she sees me. I didn’t really read too much into it because she seems pretty outgoing. Here recently though she has complimented my hair and has said things like you seem like a good person. It also seems she goes out of her way to greet me. I want to get to know her more but it’s hard to do because we work in different departments and I don’t want to bother her while she is working. Is it acceptable to send a friend request on Facebook?

The problem with those social media and the attempts to befriend people of the opposite gender is always to know the reason behind those requests.

Now, what is your true motive to want to add her on Facebook? What are you hoping for and what is your ultimate reason for doing it?

More often than not, it is not really to have yet another person to add to your large collection of friends but perhaps to start flirting in the hope there will be more.

I am not on those social media because, unfortunately, I am perfectly aware why a person of the opposite gender would want to be my friends.

Yes it is acceptable, you can start chatting more on there and see if she is interested
