He rejected me, now he is adding me on facebook. What's this all about?

I went to the movies with a guy about 2 weeks ago and the next day I texted him to say thank you and if he wanted to we should hang out again sometime. He never relied. So I came to terms with the fact that the guy is obviously not interested and I got over the rejection and moved on. But now, two weeks later, the guy sends me a friend request on facebook. It could just be a random thing and he is adding me cause he recognizes me, since that is how half of the facebook population adds each other. My problem is, that they guy obviously rejected me, he never replied to me, not even to say he is not interested, nothing..., and now he is adding me on facebook.

am I over analyzing this cause I don't think that's normal.

Careful about ruling out that he doesn't like you. I wouldn't ever do this to someone, but the whole mystery of replying back is part of the attraction process in some guys' strategies for meeting women. Usually the wait period is less than a week, but the fact that you are asking on here hints that you are slightly drawn in by the wait.

I'd say if this guy isn't one one of those people who friends every single person he knows on facebook, he may still be interested in you. Of course, logically speaking, I'd probably just stop analyzing it because either way a guy like that is probably a waste of time.

Haha, attraction process... When I wait days to reply to women it's because they TAUGHT me that they'll think I'm a loser if I get right back to them. I know I'm only speaking for myself, but it's not my cup of tea. It's a necessary evil to make things happen.

Well, if you really got over it, what difference does it make? Just accept him and see what he wants (if he wants anything) or decline.
