Why do SJWs keep making up nonsense words?

Cultural appropriation. White privilege. Toxic masculinity. The list goes on. Yes, I know they are all words with meanings. When I say nonsense, I'm talking about how these terms aren't real.

SJW activism is merely the radical wing of Neoliberalism, and intended to

get average people (scared by the SJW extremism) to agree to a large request (made by Neoliberals) by having them agree to a modest request first. People may not agree with looting, but how many of them dare to resist against the dispossession (the real Neoliberals' goal) of the average, Middle Class White citizen in Western countries?

Make no mistake. This is a kind of war against average White people. And as the book "Art of War" teaches, "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. Supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting."

You will not have any will to fight for your interests if you convince yourself that you are a "toxic man," a "privileged White person," if you think everything you have in your life was "granted to you by a society built on systemic racism." If you feel guilty and worthless, you will surrender instead of fighting. So all that phenomena of demoralisation and dispossession against Whites have become "normalised" because it faces no opposition, and people start to fear even giving the impression that they don't support that SJW causes enough because, as I said, this is the new "normal."

I think some of the stuff is extra, for sure. People create buzzwords to gain attention for the cause or concept they’re trying to advance. But even though it’s extra, a lot of it is based at its root in simply asking people to stop being assholes to other people, and I don’t understand why so many are so defensive of their “right” to have piss-poor attitudes.

They are real, they are in the worlds cultural lexicon. You just don’t agree with it, and that’s fine. Whilst they are highly annoying, and sometimes stupid as hell like cultural appropriation, they’re still real and valid.

Erm.. Lets take toxic masculinity. It was created in the 1980's by mens rights movements and has a pretty specific and useful meaning that is not covered by any other word and as such is also used in academic circles. What about white privilege? 1929 by a historian. Concept was also used in 1824. Basically if anything you are showing your lack of education here in believing these things are either new or "made up".

@EmperorOfRussia I could literally not care less about your semantic argument. I argue that the concept already existed and that Peggy McIntosh simply redefined the concept again. The concept was already talked about, the word already used in the same concept and discussion, the only difference is that we now look toward later sources for a more solid definition and exploration of the concept.

@EmperorOfRussia whether he took personal offense or not i didn't see him calling you names but regardless of that, site rules are there and this is a public forum so if i left your comments up for othrs to read, yes you might find that others agree with your points but you would also find others thinking its ok to resort to insults. as for that drink in the pub i would love to be there too, not to moderate but because i agree it would be an interesting meet but again that would be a conversation between mates and not a public exhibition

@EmperorOfRussia covid put pay to my planned summer in bulgaria sadly so yeah still in the uk but its been entertaining watching the right wing government adopt socialist ideals to get us through whilst remainers were complaining we didn't close our borders quick enough. no wonder our cleverest satirists in the uk say now that they can't compete with reality. basically they couldnt make it up

I can't say things are going really well here in Sweden too. The last trip I did was to Switzerland for the Valentine's day and the country next to close its borders at that time. I don't know when I will travel again, countries are going to exclude visitors from Sweden for awhile.

@EmperorOfRussia ah yeah we saw reports that the government were just advising social distancing while the rest of Europe went into full lockdown. it was interesting the rates of death didn't go off the scale but it was clear it wasn't the best move on the governments part. hasn't one of the top advisers publically appologised recently? conceeding if he acted sooner with more strict rules there would have been fewer deaths. we dont normally get much news on sweden in the uk but this was one story that had the whole world watching to some extent. mind you from my point of view it was far more interesting to see what happened in new zealand with a female socialist taking the lead

The man behind the plan - Anders Tegnell - didn't really apologise, he just acknowledged that much more people died than he expected, his predecessor and some other gov't figures, on the other hand, issued an apology, but not him. He still thinks that the the gov't approach has been mostly right since the pandemic began.

Many countries did a great job, New Zealand, Hungary, Greece, Lithuania, Japan, but none like Vietnam and Taiwan. These countries should be praised.

@wankiam To interlude since you really ran away with this while I slept, I have no problem throwing out or taking insults as long as it does not replace an argument. For example, saying I am an idiot for not understanding that 1+1=2 is fair since the insult is not part of the argument and it would be just as coherent if you removed the insults from the comment.

Saying I am an idiot and therefore I am wrong however is an Ad hominem at which point discourse breaks down.

I find these as silly as you do :)
Each 'generation' sees certain words as sort of trendy and -emm- modern.
Many people will use them to appear smart or informed; or they keep their mouth shut because they have no clue, but can't admit it.
The words come - and most of them will go again. They are similar to fashion: soon forgotten, and replaced by other -new- nonsense.

It helps conservatives argue with the surface of things if they are not expected to understand anything about the meaning behind the words. This triggers them into showing up to the discussion, which they otherwise would not, and nothing woild change.
