Why do people hate Californians moving in to their cities and states?

I would love for more of California’s innovators to move to NYC, but it’s not a popular destination for them.

Generally people want LESS crowding, LESS crime, LESS traffic, LESS neighbors etc where they live. The last thing we want is droves of people fleeing California, coming to our states and fucking everything up. Also Californians have a reputation for being obnoxiously entitled, self righteousness and SJW like.
