What's the point? Unless we hate ourselves and allow black people to browbeat us into submission, which I'm not going to do, it will turn into an argument. Any little thing we say "wrong" according to the black person and we'll be considered racist, and it's highly likely that we'll use the "wrong" term for something because the goal posts get moved all the time.
Basically it's usually impossible to have a normal conversation where we actually respect each other and reach common ground unless we shit on ourselves.

I talk to black people all the time. But I see no reason to talk about race. Why should the subject even come up. I don't recognize race. People are people.
I have liberal values but I'm not a latte-liberal who buys into every new identity issue that comes a long.
Because it doesn't usually come up in conversation?
Tbh I didn't know much about it before so I would feel awkward trying to talk about it, but I know enough now that I'd be comfortable engaging in a conversation about it, even if I am still relatively unknowledgeable. I know the basic terms and concepts and have a decent idea of the history, and so I should be able to hold conversation well enough.
Black people are annoying and all they think about 24 hours a day is race.
Talking to them is like walking in eggshells, they're just ready to snap and call everyone a racist whenever anything doesn't go their way.
They have this "Black guy gets shot near a fast food place, so burn down the fast food place mentality."

Because many of those "discussions" quickly turn into arguments.
Well im not avoidimg anything. I speak my mind. I will not be ordered around and be made fun of.
Dont care for racist people in general. I've been bullied all my life. Im white. Im proud to be who I am.
I love everyone equally. May not agree with ideology and ideas but I care for people.Just don't talk about race with black people
I don't need white people to talk about anything. Just make common-sense legislation.
I see about 1 white person a month I don't care what their opinion is. Of your a good person then I me as with you if not you stay over there I'll atay over here.im not but then again im British rather than American and its fine here to be white and support blm etc
Any position where white people express an opinion other than falling all over themselves in appeasement is considered racist, hateful and bigoted.
To express the "wrong" opinion could result in physical violence or losing your job.We are told to shut up when black folks are talking.
Are we supposed to be talking now? Last I heard, we were supposed to shut up and listen and feel like monsters.

lolScared of being targeted if they speak out, everything these day is the white mans fault. They do not take responsibility for their own actions or inaction everything is whiteys fault OH IT IS NOT THEIR OWN FAULT.
Ask the store owners in Portland Oregon.
They might be able to tell you.Too much unnecessary drama. Black people are too obsessed with race and black men are disrespectful to women in general.
Why are people of all colors so obseesed with discussing race 24/7?
Because the dominant narrative says that white people are the world's greatest evil.
I don't know. I'm guessing avoiding the racist card
I would be concerned with whites wanting to talk about race...
Because Blm thinks white people are evil and white people don't want to their little feelings with race talk
Because they fear being labeled a racist and being canceled over it. It’s a dangerous label to have in today’s world even if there is no merit to it
Only white people can be racist apparently.
None of that is true.
