The police have come under criticism for being heavy handed in breaking up the illegal vigil which broke regulations. When everyone elses activities have been severely restricted I think it's an insult to people to hold a mass event like this and the police did the right thing.
Ginger Lives Matter. Did the police go to far at the Sarah Everard vigil?
In fairness in the UK right now, under special laws to prevent the spread of covid. Gatherings are illegal, and the police are tasked to uphold that law.
So let's get this straight - a group of people knew the law, and yet decided it was ok to hold a mass gathering. When the police are tasked to do their job, they go in to break it up. A few folk become dicks about their right to break the law with the police. The police restrain the ring leader using the techniques they are taught and trained in. Out of their available options, they didn't use- batons, pepper spray or teasers on her. It was purely a physical restraint.
And the police are in the wrong? Sounds like the police behaved in accordance with their training and the girl should be up in court for attending an illegal gathering, and any other crimes she committed.
It was peaceful until people who were only there to start trouble started on the police. They hijack everything. The press only gave half a story. The police were in a no win situation.
The murder of Sarah was terrible! And a police officer stands accused of it. So demonstrations can be expected. Ad that when police broke up the vigils, they trampled memorials and flowers for the dead woman. The police seemed more interested in stopping any demonstration for Sarah than enforcing covid restrictions. The picture of a policeman pinning down a woman wearing a mask reinforced that thought. Breaking up a crowd violating covid restrictions is one thing, but beatin a crowd and trampling memorial offerings is over the line. Yes, the police seemed to have gone too far.
A public vigil in honor of a murder victim ist verboten! How DARE those swine for venturing outside in defiance of the benevolent "safety" restrictions. Don't they realize that their overlords know what's best? It's people like that who need a good taste of discipline from the royal jackbooted robocops. Shades of 1949 Nazi Germany and fascist Italy, or Orwell's 1984.
I saw the crowds at that vigil and yeah it pissed me off, coz I can't so much as step foot in London to stretch my legs for five minutes, but they can all huddle together and yell in peoples faces and that's just fine? They should go home and let the parents grieve in peace,
oh crap. I didn't know about this. I actually find gingers rather cute.
As for the police, well, if they didn't exist, we'd be screwed. And since they're human beings (in which case a lot of them are heavily traumatised), problems are bound to happen.

Those same cops were on their knees getting bashed by BLM a few months ago. Cowards. Useless cunts. Yeah they went too far. The cop who killed Sarah Everard went too far too because even those he was reported for flashing and was stalking the girl they did nothing about it because they're corrupt.
I had no idea about that event happening from over here in the 530. I have always found that gingers tend to be hurting emotionally.

I don't know nothing about this case, but I felt that the minority Ginger race was under attack ever since South Park did that "Kick a Ginger" episode. It's time to fuckin stand up for redheads and stop the bullshit.
