That depends on workplace. What have you observed from your colleagues? Have you found any patterns, tendencies, trends, etc?
Each workplace has its own culture from the original founder's vision & attempts at the enforcement thereof, the leftover dynamics passed-on by those who worked there before you, and the unique interactions of the specific mix of people working there at this current moment. So, should you continue the already on-going tradition or do your own thing (de-facto contributing something completely different by default)? Think long & hard before you actually act.
At my last office-job, my department-mates (who all totaled 4, including me, minus our department-head whose workplace was with the other department-heads), we greeted and bade farewell to each other. Meanwhile, this is not done at all in my current workplace. Since I already did it, I've continued doing so anyway. The bad side of introducing this import is that when I forget to do so, some freak-out, thinking I left with a grievance from someone/others and hence couldn't honestly bid everyone a good rest of the day, so I passive-aggressively didn't even try at all. Should I have just done what the rest would do, instead of carrying-on what I used to do in my last workplace? I still find myself debating this every so often.

Better choice when you are leaving is with saying "goodbye".
