If they're getting paid to protest, and fundraise, then that is their job. Certainly they're making pennies compared to executives in BLM, but fail to provide your protestors with food, drink, shelter, and some pocket money, and they'll stop listening to the orders you give them and start acting of their own volition, like Antifa and the Dems.

Now they're on a similar hook, even if they start to lose momentum, and get everything they demand, they cannot stop protesting. What do you tell that many people who dropped out of school, or just graduated and have on their resume for over a year "participated in peaceful protests, so peaceful sometimes the city burned" Blank spots in a resume are worse than saying you started a sham company to start a company that starts companies.

That's shady, but it's initiative.

I'm sure there are people who travel in for a day, or week to protest and then leave, but you've got to have a solid core of "regulars" to maintain the momentum they have. Say at least 100,000 or so, bare bones. I'm more curious to see how many of them continue to get paid, and receive donations now that this trial is over, and summer is approaching. Along with it more violence, and less police to stop it in major cities across the US.

Of course they have jobs- they're being paid by Soros and his lot to be full-time rioters and protesters. That IS their job. The super-rich have had their "private security firms" of mercenaries since time immemorial; now though, in the age of "progressivism"and anti-morality, rather than employing them for their own security, organizations like BLM are effectively the leftist elites' "private INsecurity firms", created explicitly to destabilize and destroy society for them. And it's worked for them like a charm...

The had nightly protests in Seattle through the summer. Almost all of the protesters have day jobs.

Covid lockdowns killed a lot of jobs. It made them all tense and freed up a lot of time for them to riot. Another main group among then rioters is well-off middle class white kids that can spare the time.
