To be a pedophile the only thing you have to do is be attracted towards a child... (someone under 18). So if you find an 18 year old women attractive then you 100 percent found them attractive whenever they where 16/17. THIS MAKES YOU A PEDOPHILE. Again if you find 18 year old Billie Eilish attractive then you find 17 year old Billie Eilish and 16 year old Billie Eilish attractive as well.

Will often be employed in a position that involves daily contact with children.

Paedophiles display predatory behaviour in seeking out shy, handicapped, or vulnerable children. They then proceed to groom by showering with attention, gifts etc and will often manipulate them by appealing to their need to be heard and understood.

Almost all paedophiles have a collection of pornography, which they protect at all costs. Many of them also collect "souvenirs" from their victims. They rarely discard either their porn or collections for any reason and display kleptomaniac behaviours.

Billy Eilish makes music for disabled people, she doesn't attract paedophiles herself.

Mother nature, puberty and legal laws of adulthood and consent don't always match up.

Mother nature says the human body is ready to reproduce after puberty... which often happens long before 18.

Legal systems needed a way to define when childhood ends and adulthood starts. Most choose 18, even though in the past people would get married younger. I have great grandmother who had 3 children by the time she was 16.

Society has taken mother nature and just put a legal line in the sand to try and protect our youth and help them to get ready to be adults. Often though all it does is lengthen the process. As I've personally known teenage guys intentionally commit very bad crimes while under age to avoid prison time if they get caught, knowing full well if they did get caught it would be handled in the juvenile system.

I personally think true pedophilia is for those attracted to pre-puberty teens. By your definition anyone attracted to anyone under 18 is a legal one, but there is even some genetic research studies that show there is a genetic component to those attracted to children.

Pedophile means prepubescent children. I think. But the bottom line is even if you’re sexually attracted to a 15 yr old (age of consent varies from state to state) if you’re an adult you can’t and shouldn’t act on it or you’ll suffer major legal consequences if you get caught even if the 15 yr old is willing.

First of all, you do not magically go from being a child to being an adult on your 18th birthday. The only thing that changes in a meaningful way on that day is your legal status. A child is someone who has not significantly achieved puberty. There is an in between period between childhood and adulthood where a person is neither a child nor an adult and in that period people of various levels of development. A 13 year old girl may have pronounced curves a mature face and be five feet 8 inches tall. Being attracted to her does not make a man a pedophile. It makes him heterosexual. Being attracted to a 26 year old women who has a rare form of dwarfism that makes her appear as a 7 year old girl does make one a pedophile. A pedophile is not someone who is attracted to people under 18. A pedophile is someone who is attracted to people who look like children. But don't take my word for it. Pedophile is a term that specifically applies to attraction to prepubescents. The legal age of consent is for a very different reason and varies by region. It seems to be about "how long is a fair amount of time to give a girl before the law will no longer protect her from sexual scammers." And of course out of "wokeness" they had this apply to boys too, although it's rarely reported because it so much more rarely occurs and when it does happen it's like a pig just walking in to the mouth of a croocodile. No one can adequately put into words why the crocodile should complain about it.

I'm saying this as a person that only finds girls appealing after their teens.

Pedo is when you are attracted to people before having adult attributes. That is before being a teenager, 12-14 years.

After that they have boobs, curves, and hairy pussy. That is a fact, biology, and anything else doesn't follow.

A different thing is that you will have sex with such girl, due to their maturity. Still they have the body of any other grown adult.

I believe that an 18 having sex with an 12 being illegal is mostly due to the age difference and maturity being too distant at that age range, and not due to the lack of capability of having adult sex.

Wrong. Pedophilia is an attraction to prepubescent children, not sexually mature teens. Women used to be available for marriage at about 15, and were commonly married by 18. They had to be, as life expectancy was quite short.

The fashion industry used to routinely hire 14-16 year old women to model adult clothing. It's normal for adults to find teenagers attractive. It's not normal for adults to make advances toward high school students.
