Honestly I think this has a lot to do with pedophilia in the media becoming more marketable. Just the other day I was scrolling on Instagram and I got an ad pop up that was literal cartoon CP. LITERAL CARTOON CP. Granted I have been getting explicitly sexual ads all day and then boom there was. Imagine if I was a child and I saw that. Why the actual fuck are we marketing towards these people? Towards an app where children are on it. This is another reason why I'm never having kids. They went down to download social media whether I know or not and if they had come across something like that? Just how was that even allowed? And get this I reported it, just got a notification today that the post wasn't taken down. Explicit cartoon CP, wasn't taken down. This reminds me of when I followed an Instagram account turning around finding predators on Instagram and mass reporting them. When I tell you most of the time none of the posts or accounts would ever be taken down. I can't unsee some of the shit saw on there. These were real people, real children. The owner of the account eventually had to deactivate it because of how draining it was to have to search for these account have to see the abuse being posted and then have to go to the mental turmoil of the accounts almost never being taken down.

Pedophiles are getting more comfortable in the media because they're not facing any consequences. I personally think people in higher power are either pedophiles or money hungry enough to allow them to continue being on the app because they're making so much money. So there's sex traffickers in the very least.

people that abuse kids, I got little tolerance for because that is taking their sickness out on another innocent that doesn't have the power to defend themselves or know themselves. Maybe the whackos are born that way or made that way, I don't know. It gets into the same arguments we get with trans/gay and such... they say they are born that way. Biut if they are adults and mature... and frankly to me... thats north of age 20 like 28, but whatever, it's 18... so be it. Adults have to take responsibility for their lives.

That said, I see a lot of guys Fing up and ending up on the S offender registry. The laws seem quite tight. I think many would not be S offenderrs if they got some training and had a social life with an adult female. Sadly, they are pathetic and so left to their devices online.

It be very easy to be suckered into behaviors that make one a S offender. Guys are knuckleheads as can't turn off those hormones anymore than women can. This may be an argument to make prostituion legal... so they aren't bottled up time bombs.

But leave kids alone.

Paedophiles have gotten comfortable because of the lack of action against them and support of them from the Political Left this includes the current administration and The Intersectional/Identitarian crowd in Academia, who are constantly trying to down play the harm Paedophiles cause by trying to relabel them with less loaded names such as "Minor Attracted Person" so it is seen as a harmless sexual preference.

People need to remember that Paedophiles of both sexes are some of the most accomplished liars on the planet.

Child molesters - Paedophiles come from all walks of life and from all socio-economic groups.

They work in a wide range of occupations, from unskilled labourer to corporate executive, to within the Judiciary, Law Enforcement, Medical Community, Religious Orders.

They can be male or female, rich or poor, employed or unemployed, religious or non-religious, highly educated or non-educated, or from any race.

It usually is those that hide behind the cloak of normality and respectability within our community that are the worst offenders of them all.

As they will thrive on this respect and the control over their victim, in knowing that he/she can convince many other's that the child is lying and is looking for attention.

It's hard to balance bc obviously predators should be stopped & children protected, but most of these people have family & friends who actively or passively shield them from shame & harm. If we make it "too" scary to be a predators then those people around them will become much more protective and ull need total undeniable evidence to get any conviction at all. Many would go free from the start, instead of being released early.

There needs to be a shift first in like honor/shame culture to make it so that it's better to cut off or rat out any family/friend who is bad person like that, rather than defend them & hide crimes bc "they're family/friend" or "they're not a bad person really." THEN there can be a harsher sentences (or punishments that actually maybe work to make reoffenses go down)& maybe actually have good effect.

It gives them incentive to humanize them by labeling them as "minor attracted persons" to fall under groups to heralded or protected despite the nature of these individuals.

Kid diddlers should not be given a label like that as a means to be accepted or make their behavior seen or embraced as normal in society. They should be shamed and if caught in the act dead to rights, well... removed violently
