-Why care about what transgenders are doing in their lives
-Who cares if a woman gets an abortion
-Who cares what someone else put in their body
-Who cares who someone is sleeping with and/or getting married to

Care about the real important issues such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, climate charge, getting people higher paying careers not some low loser jobs such as fast food or Wal-Mart not silly stupid cultural wars shit!!!

Did not bother to vote as the question is intended to make the asker feel good about himself and not elicit a serious debate. Further, it is a stereotype that Republicans focus on social issues. Some, like recent California candidate for Governor, Ms. Jennings, define themselves as "fiscally conservative, socially liberal." So the question is both flawed in its premise and profoundly unserious.

That said, the focus on social issues is not unwise and is, indeed, perhaps more fundamental than a focus on fiscal issues and the like. It being axiomatic that politics is downstream of culture and that, in time, the politics will reflect the culture.

Aristotle said the first questions of politics are "How ought we to live? What kind of a people do we wish to be?" Those who tend to disregard the "social issues" will, in effect, neglect those questions. They then have no intellectual star by which to cheer and thereby lose the authority to define in law what is right and what wrong.

Those who fancy themselves liberal will applaud abortion, neglecting the prerequisites to the question. Specifically, what value does the society place on the scales between the liberty and life. Indeed, the abortion question becomes an exercise in legal evasions - not for nothing are the courts tied up in knots trying to avoid the question of the moment when life begins.

This thereby meaning that the value of life is inherently relative and subjective. Left to each individual to decide and thus it becomes an ethic of mere power relations. He or she who has the power decides the value of life.

Of course when those who had the power decided that African-Americans had to sit at separate lunch counters, liberals objected. Suddenly it became an objective standard of right and wrong as against a standard of each getting to decide for themselves. The very thought that the store owner should have a choice - to use the locution of the abortion rights movement - was unacceptable as a collective moral judgment.

This then revealing the truth. Liberals are as much engaged in social questions as the Republicans this questioner deplores. It is simply that the liberals lack the self-awareness to recognize it and thus they end up in an intellectual hall of mirrors. When they approve of something, it is a matter of freedom. Where not, a matter of "clueless losers" focusing on social issues.

This overall recurring back to Aristotle's first question of politics. My home state of Michigan - I no longer live there but have family that does - has legalized marijuana and gambling. Advertising in the state consoling its' collective conscience by offering, below the ads for casinos and marijuana phone numbers for addicts to call if they decide they need help. Because of course, as we know, addicts always recognize their addictions an act accordingly.

Living in the state has become like living in a cesspool. The question then being, is this how a just society ought to live? Is this an environment in which children ought be raised. Will such an environment conduce to young people nurtured in the virtues that conduce to a happy and successful life? Does it offer skills and an environment conducive to the nurturing of self-discipline, or mere self-indulgence and sensations?

What else are republicans going to complain about? Things are essentially the way they want them to be for the most part other than what? The price of gas? The cultural war is all they can really dig their claws into, particularly because it's quite easy to bitch and moan and post memes on social media.

Okay, I don't care about if a woman gets an abortion, I don't care what someone else puts in their body, and I don't care who someone is sleeping with and/or getting married to, but I would argue that the trans thing does actually matter, seeing as a trans woman would actually have an unfair advantage compared to born women in certain sports. I agree with you on all the things you want to be focused on, as well as most of the things you don't think need to be focused on, but I think that specific subject is worth thinking about.

Turn on CNN, and you’ll notice they talk about how mean and racist republicans are. Turn on Fox and you’ll notice they can’t stand democratic policy. I watch both and it’s a pattern I noticed. The feeble mindedness to just blindly jump into this tribalistic thinking is really astounding. Republican fiscal policy seems to be much more effective over the last decade. This stimulus and then the implementation of contractionary tax hikes is economic suicide in my opinion. Bad decision on the Biden administration. No, republicans aren’t all losers. The losers are the ones who oblige blind devotion into the rhetoric of the main media outlets and fall for it. They become tribalistic and you can always tell when they come across as wildly insulting to the other side with broad negative generalizations. It’s entirely narrow minded and it comes across as sheeplike. As if they can’t think for themselves. I’m a Republican but I don’t just think every liberal is a loser. I think they’re generally good educated people. It’s the democratic politicians and their policies that I disagree with. Stop partaking in the tribalism. You’re doing exactly what they want. There are boys and girls sports for a reason. Women can’t physically compete with men. The point is to allow girls to exhibit their skills and talents, achieve their own athletic goals, and to allow them to be competitive for women’s athletic scholarships… Trannies can still play sports, they just have to play as the gender they were born or play in a co-ed sport. How about you fuck up your own state, and keep your nose out of ours.
