I don’t even mess with politics, no dog in the fight, and I’ll be the first to say that this guy is so goddamn dangerous with the bullshit he puts into people’s minds.
I figure let the ones who want to wear masks do so. They're a minority down here, so likely they have some reason. If you honestly believe you can get a mask onto a two year old though, oh man, good luck with that one. It's kind of why schools don't require them until third grade, or around 8 years old.
I'd try talking to someone if I saw a child in distress, whether it's over a mask or whatever. This has been rough on kids. They have friends they want to play with, social connections their growing brains need, and it hasn't been there a lot. How many times can you swing with your kids in your own backyard before their social skills are stunted, or their simply afraid to leave that familiar environment?
Adults can make choices and do what they want. Kids have no choice but to go along for the ride. Anyway, why make a big deal out of masks when state after state is lifting the mask mandates... and seeing lower cases.
I don't fear for my own life because I am not in a demographic where that would be a likely thing, but I fear for other people who are in those demographics.
Also I knew Tucker Carlson was bad but Jesus Christ he's actually insane. Like what the hell.
