Sure. We are near the middle between two ice ages. Another 10,000 years we'll be in another ice age regardless how hot it get now with or without Human intervention.

It's a climatic shift. It completely depends on what nature does. We as a species have helped accelerate a shift but the ridiculous freaking out isn't helping any.

I don't think there's a soul that denies that the climate changes. Lol

Problem is that we worry about different things at the same time.

The same people who scream about wanting electric cars, don't realise how much pollution comes from making the batteries for them.

And a lot of the same folks are anti nuclear power, which is so ridiculous. Now that Germany goes from climate friendly nuclear power (became of popular opinion against it), they have to fuel their electricity demands with coal and gas...

Climate change he been occuring since the Earth started spinning on its axis.

What I do believe is all pollution needs to be kept to a minimum. That means both solid and gaseous.

There are tons of garbage in most waterways.

That's bad, but mostly a local problem. Climate change needs the kind of international efforts that acid rain and the ozone hole required.

First it was called global cooling, then global warming. Now it’s climate change?

The only thing that does is go from one narrative to myriad ones. That on itself should make you skeptical.

The last 150 years of predictions every single one has been wrong.

The only thing they have is computer models.

When myth busters tried proving CO2 warms the air, they failed miserably. They pumped a room full of CO2 up to 71,000ppm (420ppm right now) and it changed the temp one degree. This is just a sliver of what I know.

MythBusters? Are you serious? You want to try and hold an experiment done on MythBusters against decades of scientific research done on a global scale? And by the way, that experiment showed an increase in temperature as a result of adding c02 into a box (it wasn't a room, it was actually 3 boxes, one with c02 added, one with methane added and one control box to compare to the other two). This is right after you claimed the experiment had failed. Sorry, but the experiment actually showed what you didn't want to see regardless of the ratio of c02 in their box compared to the real atmosphere which doesn't work like that box. That experiment is really doing nothing but showing increasing pressure increases temperature. That is highschool physics stuff. Real climate science is much more erudite than that.
All predictions of the last 150 years have been wrong? Who told you that? Because it's wrong.
If that is just a sliver of what you think you knew, I would suggest you go back to school. Look, it has been proven beyond doubt that anthropogenic climate change is real. No amount of special pleading can help you deny it and maintain your intellectual integrity.

You can’t say A causes B if B happens first.

Yeah, I said it changed the temp one degree. Myth busters was actually advocating for man made climate change, not against it. They say CO2 is the only thing that changes temp. Plant food that loves CO2.

They have machines that can suck CO2 out of the air. Why wouldn’t they use that? That solves the problem.

Yeah, I didn’t get any of my information from Fox News. I understand it’s on your subconscious every time you hear it the left repeats it so much. It looks like you are stuck on the media. Is that your only argument?

I’m not pleading with you. Nice of you to take the authoritarian stance. You can believe what you want.

I’m sorry 120 years. Link with links of articles. Yes, Nytimes existed in 1895.

      710wor.iheart.com/.../

It’s a scam by intellectuals. Thomas Sowell has a great video on that.

Manipulation. They never want to debate ever. Bill Nye even said Deniers should be in jail.

I remember in 2012 when a ship of scientists went to Antarctica to prove global warming is real. They got stuck and the rescuers got stuck too. Why would the media say it was a cruise ship?

I also remember NOAA emails getting hacked you might remember ClimateGate. Where they adjusted the evidence to say Global Warming was happening when it wasn’t. But yeah of course. That’s som Fox News conspiracy.

It’s not hard to buy off scientists to say something is happening when it’s not. You give them billions of dollars, like on the last stimulus. Saikat Chakrabarti wrote the Green New Deal. He said it has nothing to do with the Environment, but you know more than him?

I have friends from all walks from life. My top business associate is a full blown leftist. He knows carpentry, but he is dumb. Without the media, the Democrat party would be nothing.
Why say the science is settled when science never is?

This goes first: the first one goes second

I’m still perplexed by this though. And do your best to read this. It is eye opening.

Your viewpoint is that this is happening now at a record pace and anything we can do to stop it is what’s needed? That’s it, right? If it is, you’re too nice of a person and very naive.

Me: I’m not saying it’s not true, but is it happening at record pace? Is their any upside to someone that has a different agenda. Someone who wants full compliance and control of everything? Is there any way this can be perverted? You do KNOW that is the end game for someone, right? There is currently people in our USA that want all of us lock n step.

Could someone with ulterior motives find a way to make this look real? What would be an upside to that? Well, there’s money. That’s in the top 1-3 things just about everyone wants in life. So there’s that. And rationalization is the second strongest human drive. You know that, right?

Tell me something. We as people today. Are we more prone to sit together amongst one another and be really friendly and at the end of EVERYTHING we end up split down the middle? Or do we make our own assumptions about each other and come to a plethora of other conclusions? One is easier than the other. Hint: most people are going to take the easier route. They’re going to take route that they can think of RIGHT NOW.

So you don’t think being that much in debt, maybe money is a pretty strong motivating factor?

Now, you may say... Why am I for the right? Because I know that way is what would make more of us equally successful in life.

You have to know the way we are going there is just going to be winners and losers, right?
And when I say that I mean the rich and very poor.

Last thing: I gave you that list of 120 years of failed predictions. That’s 0-41. But it’s 100% happening at record pace?

It goes back to how God said: Don’t eat the fruit on the tree.
The fact that we are able to make a choice is bad enough. Because obviously some people are too stupid, ignorant, full of hate to be talking, right?

Which I find odd because the end game for Dictators is total compliance.

And that’s what God had us at the beginning. Total Compliance, but they were happy. Yeah, they didn’t have the thought of knowing, but they were happy. This road of total compliance isn’t happy.

Speaking of Cancel Culture. That’s what it is. You say, “Well he can make his own mind up.” But it’s never that simple. And the fact that you even brought it up is enough.

If I held lots of power and influence it would turn into 2 people than 10 than 200. Then 1000.

Then imagine being someone who yields considerable power. You start pulling their commercials, their products. You hurt them financially. You hurt them in other ways to force their hand on another.

At least own it when you say it.

To preface, I believe in global warming, but to play devils advocate, the earth's temperature isn't normally static, it fluctuates. And some people argue that we've just gradually been coming out of that ice age and the world has just gradually been getting warmer.

How does the abundance of evidence refute that?
