Because it´s lust driven. There´s a porn phenomen going around where porn clips are made in a concept where a guy fucks either with his mom/step-mom, daughter/sister or any other family member. I admit that I´ve watched such clips in the past but it´s getting stronger now. I think it´s a negative side of our individualistic society where everybody should be able to do anything as long as they don´t hurt others. Some people started with it and because it turned them on it, they claim there is nothing wrong with it. I also see a problem because morals today become more and more individualistic and are sometimes seen as opinions. So it´s negative side of our sexual freedom culture.
Game of Thrones made it popular with Jamie and Cersei Lannister. It got a lot of people hot and bothered. Then porn companies joined on the bandwagon but their videos are more about "Step" family members. So it's more about the taboo of cheating or getting caught having sex with someone you shouldn't be but there's no blood relation.
I don't think anyone is normalizing incest. If anything we are simply becoming more aware of the problem and it has been around for thousands of years. To my knowledge, only one state, Rhode Island, has decriminalized it. You can't marry a close relative in any state in the U. S. I don't know about other countries though.
As deviant sexual behavior becomes normalized and accepted, the activists have to push further and further in order to stay relevant. The transexual train is running its course, and soon they need a new one to rally around. Personally, I think it'll be pedophilia before incest, but you can take it to the bank.

Also here is just what I think about everything you have said. My first reaction was to say we have a separation between church and state, which is true, but I also know that that will only make people who follow the Bible angry that the Bible is not being followed. So as I thought about it I realized a few things that are promising for the lgbtq+ communities, number one is that god says that we should accept and forgive all sinners no matter what, so if you are giving hate to the lgbtq+ communities aren’t you just contradicting what you are trying to help? Yes, yes you are. Number two, the Bible was written centuries ago before the lgbtq+ movements were a thing, you cannot expect the Bible to be the answer god would give, that is like stating women should not have any rights because our constitution says all men are to be treated equally, it just simply does not make since in modern day society. Number three, within lgbtq+ Christians, by using Bible verses known as “clobber texts” you are encouraging suicide and pushing them away from Christianity. Many lgbtq+ community members have a hard time coping with the beat down they are getting from people who will not accept change, when they hear these Bible verses attacking them, some are experiencing suicidal thoughts and that can lead to suicidal actions, by attacking them you are encouraging suicide which is a sin, or you are forcing them to drop Christianity. Read "Thinking Sex" by Gayle Rubin. That document is considered by many to be the founding document of queer theory by many in the LGBT community. In that document she compares "boy lovers" to homosexuals, and argues that they should be accepted just like gay people. Literally arguing for pedophilia. Multiple other early thinkers in the LGBT community e. g. Michel Foucault have argued for the lowering of the age of consent all the way down to 0.
