You're close, but not quite asking the right question yet. Here's a clue: a bunch of right-wing loons storming an empty Capitol building to "protest" an election result, and, potentially, disrupt a functioning government proceeding is called, by the media, an "insurrection".

In October of 2018, a bunch of left-wing loons storm an ACTIVE Capitol building to "protest" the swearing in of a Supreme Court justice, and actively attempting to disrupt a functioning government proceeding. This is called, by the media... well, actually I don't know; I was DEEPLY relieved that that unqualified boob had been given a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, as doing otherwise would've been abandoning law and handing the country over to an angry mob, and the whole situation left me so depressed I spent that day drunk into a stupor. But even if they DID also call it an "insurrection", it was quickly forgotten about.

Now for the $64,000 question- can you tell me why?

Don't like the term insurrection? Sounds like a personal issue, as it simply means:
"A rising or rebellion of citizens against their government, usually manifested by acts of violence". It was more than a "rowdy protest", dude. If you can't see that, you're one of the idiots.

Of course they had no idea of what would happen next, but having a plan isn't a pre-requisite for an insurrection. What would have happened if they actually DID get a hold of a few chosen Senators, like Pelosi or Schumer? Or Mike Pence? There was a gallows out there. What if these idiots actually had killed some legislators? Would that be good enough for you? You think trump would have said something if he saw legislators being led out in bondage? What the fuck?
