While not one of his better songs, he does make some valid points. However, so you do when complaining about the obsession with the culture war. If you don't want the culture to change so drastically then focus on the economic stuff, the material conditions people are facing.

Those who lean conservative need to move away from the traditional Right wing lumping with big business and corporate Capitalism and instead fight to benefit the working people who are suffering because of Capitalism. They should at the very least support unions, universal healthcare, affordable education especially trade and skill based education, UBI (something even many libertarians agree with), making large social media platforms public utilities and a capital gains tax/wealth tax since income isn't usually how the rich get and stay rich. Owning properties, trading and investing is how most rich people make their money. It's not a salary it's not an income given to them.

There should be a party in the US that is built on social democracy and "christian democratic" values that support a more paternalistic conservativism rather than a libertarian conservatism that has ravaged middle America and ruined cities. I'm not saying they have to be socialist I'm just saying they need to realize that Capitalism is destroying the very conservative values they hold dear. So maybe some necessary regulations are in order.

I don't agree with your naive denialism of letting trans women compete with biological women because this is a wider affecting thing than you are leading on. It needs to stop. Being trans should be a small, hardly seen phenomenon like intersexual conditions. They should not be bullied or discriminated against when it comes to housing or employment but we can't pretend this shit isn't dangerous and unravels society. As for abortion, it is happening less and less. Likely due to less and less women having kids in the first place which is a problem in of itself.

And no, libertarians do not "leave people alone" they just want to replace the state with private business hierarchies that function exactly like the state. They believe in social darwinism. That's not conducive to civil society and it breaks society apart. Libertarian Capitalism has never worked.
