Mental sickness. I don't say that as a derogatory thing, I don't consider mentally ill people as bad or inferior, nor do I consider that a serious illness.
But it is. Considering yourself as the opposite of what you factually are isn't sane.
That said, I won't treat them bad or less than anyone else, but it is what it is.
I mean maybe if they were branded with a "T" it wouldn't be so bad. But with some of them it's hard to tell. And one always has to worry about them tricking you. Fortunately most Trans people are upfront about it. But as usually a few people always ruin it for the rest.

I don't support them. They need to get treatment for their untreated mental diseases. The vast majority of them have undergone trauma and has had an unstable or abusive family life. They have multiple untreated disorders on average and because of that they have a suicide problem.
To let you know we get treatment.
The vast majority do not seek adequate treatment otherwise your suicide rate would be far lower then it is. It's a result of compounding disorders depression, anxiety, bipolar to name a few that's extremely common in trans people.
You have to get diagnosed with being transgender before you get any treatment.
Also not all transgender people transition.
