Well first of all that is just one branch of communism but putting that aside its equally the part of the state goal of Democracy to allow representation and a voice to everyone. Its sort of a battle of ideologies and both are convinced that theirs would win in a fair battle. Basically it would go against the foundations of Democracy as well as its stated goals to forbid communism from participating just because you are afraid of losing.

Should they? Of course. Would they? No. Because like you said it don't really follow democracy. However socialism would because that's a much more democratic based way of doing it.

No, that's called sedition, and the US (along with a whole mess of other countries) have laws against that crap. You don't get to participate as a valid political party with the sole goal of overthrowing the US Gov't.

Yes. Even if they win, it doesn't mean they have the power to dissolve constitutions so easily. Communists winning doesn't mean they can implement communism. And if a lot of people are really on board with it, then it would be better for those who are not to secede from the nation and leave them to their fate.

Democracy doesn't work if people are prevented from voting. I know Republicans hate it when people vote, but everyone's opinion has to be heard for democracy to work correctly.
