Try garlic, which id a natural antibiotic.
Elderberry extract (anthocyanin) is a powerful natural antibiotic and antiviral that can be ingested, or applied to an open wound.
Very sad that we have no universal health system like every other civilized country. Then again, we aren't so civilized...

They just get around the price gouging and the expensive signatures by marketing it as "for fish."
I've never actually needed to take "fish" drugs before, but with me being uninsured rn I wouldn't be surprised if I will eventually.
With as cheap as they obviously can manufacturer and sell all of this shit at a profit, it's kinda seems to me as evidence they're all screwing us over just because they can.
But, first, how would you know if what you have is treatable by that particular antibiotic... also like the most common general antibiotic is actually free at some grocery store pharmacies like Kroger... It's like there is a designated one that does that... at least in Georgia! Besides, the biggest thing with antibiotics is that you take the entire full course and not just until you feel better. Because you have to kill them all and not let the ones that a bit more resistant to the antibiotic thrive and make things so much worse.
Since, I know that you are not talking about some super new antibiotics, that do cost an arm and a leg. Regular antibiotics are like less than $5 for a two-week treatment. Hell, I would have no problem helping someone out with paying that much for their medicine if I was right next to them, and they could not afford it.
@WowwGirl I am glad to hear that and everything... You just like seriously take care, ok? If you really need some medicine, I know many ways that you can get them for free... Seriously, it's really the only way that the pharmaceutical companies are allowed to charge outrageous prices for their drugs, and that is to offer them for free if you can't afford them. I think it is unfair that America must fund the research for new drugs and that these drugs are offered to every other country for pennies on the dollar to what burden is placed on us that "can afford them."
@WowwGirl That is awesome! I mean, damn, I wish that I was so well funded that I would never have to know how to get some of the latest biologics that my wife can now use for free… Let me think of some things I could work with these companies to get for free... Do you have any Idea how Cosentyx cost without insurance? I don't make that much a freaking week to pay for one dose for her! She has some Tardive dyskinesia check out the damn fuckin price for Ingresa... Then let us also talk about her migranes and just how much Ambigen costs... I'm so fucking glad that you are a fucking billionaire that can afford that and yet put up a stupid ass question about having to fucking take fish antibiotics! What the fuck are trying to prove here?
I can't believe just how upset and agitated you have gotten me... I'm like ready to hunt you down and do awful things to you... I'm seriously laughing at myself on what is going through my mind. I really, just really, need to let you go... You are one of the few people that could actually drive me insane. Have a nice life, I'm out!
About as intelligent an idea as any Murcian would get.
You might as well try dog antibiotics too, while you're at it. Or maybe a bit of Ketamine.
I would say that our bodies are not like fish; and you really do not wish to play around with your health!!!
I mean everyday I live in England I appreciate the brilliance of the NHS and am shocked that developed countries still charge there citizens for basic health care.
@EnglishEuropean Not everybody has to, if someone doesn't have the capability to then they are not punished for that. Surely you know that? I've paid for every prescription in my adult life but even I know that not everyone has to, I mean just looking at the form shows you that! So if you're calling yourself EnglishEuropean it may help understanding how they work first! lol
@EnglishEuropean Low income/unemployed as well as plenty of other categories don't have to pay... even the simplest google search will show that.
I don't need to search google to find out whether I have to pay for prescriptions. I don't; I'm over 60.
In case you missed the significance that means I'm considered more likely to vote. Therefore it doesn't matter if I need free stuff or not, I get it anyway.
It's scary that you people have to do stuff like that. There'd be a national outcry here if people needed to do that
I mean you people as in Americans. And I don't consider myself above most people
I think it’s kind of fishy & hopefully people don’t OD on the shit & end up belly up.
This would be something if people are saving money and getting the real medication and not some counterfeit drug?
It’s the same thing so I see no issue with it. I have some in my closet
This is a very bad idea unless it is identical to one you have been prescribed in dosage and content.
If you look up the codes on the “fish antibiotics” capsules you will notice that the majority of them are exactly the same as the ones prescribed to people and dispensed at the pharmacy.
Hey, it's none of my damn business. They can drink bleach for all I care. They mind their business and I'll mind mine.
i don't think they do this. and you should post links to reputable sources. not memes
Seems like a bad idea to me. I wouldn’t risk it.
Never heard o them. How are effective are they?
I’ve heard of fish oil but Not fish anabiotic’s
*facepalm*
If it works
As long as people use the right spectrum of antibiotics and they take it for long enough, even if they start to feel better, once you start an antibiotic regimine you need to go the distance. 7-10 days in most cases.
If you stop taking it after you start to feel better but the bacteria is not dead and gone it can regrow and now it can develop a resistance to the antibiotic.
So now you've developed a super bacteria that might need a stronger antibiotic to kill.
And you don't take antibiotics for a virus.
Going to the clinic will help you determine if it's a viral or bacterial infection.
Must be done with extreme care.
And the quality of the antibiotics is not as good sometimes
Shows the state of US healthcare
Dumb.
