Last night I posted a light hearted question about a credit card not working in a store. In the question I played with the connection between "strip down facing me" as in "put your card in the machine strip down this way round" and "take your clothes off" . I didn't think it was complex, just a little late night light hearted humour.
But no, you people are so fucking dumb that half of you actually thought I stripped off in a shop. A few even questioned if it was a fake question, probably the type who need disclaimers at the beginning of star wars to tell them it's not real.
And it's not just my questions, time and time again I see you people struggling with basic shit. It's like you skipped school when they were teaching stuff like shapes and colours or not to stick your hand in boiling water. God help it if you people ever had to do something as complex as catching a bus without your carers escorting you. No wonder half you people voted Trump.

I notice a lot of this. A lot of the time it seems like people don't actually read the question. Or at least, they read the title, but not the larger body of text where the Asker clarifies what they mean because they're aware that just the title could be interpreted in different ways. I've noticed this myself on Asks I posted in Religion & Spirituality.
And a lot of people seem to have tremendous difficulty understanding jokes or hyperbole. I often wonder if the other person is possibly autistic, or if they're just so desperate to correct someone on something they don't realise that /they're/ the idiot for not getting the joke/point.
I thought that question was funnier than fuck. And most of your questions are genius that was funny

After the first six or seven times, I worked out the warning on the label for myself, as a child. Funnily enough, it never occurred to me to sue Levi Strauss (or at least the makers of the cheap no-name jeans I was bought). I imagine it's less likely but worse if you're circumcised, though.
Don't get angry with stupidity. I know it's hard, but laughter is better. I mean I live in Canada and 40% of Canadians think the earth was created in six 24 hour periods. Forty goddam percent. I find it difficult sometimes. I admit it. I can very easily gauge a person by eye contact, or by facial expression. Even body language. However in text? No, I get very easily confused as to whether someone is on a wind up or not.
Not understanding something is different to been dumb. One may just be more literal but could have a IQ of 140 and doing the best in his field of work then not understand your joke. Would he be dumb? Nah.
Personally I come to G@G because of the highbrow intellectual conversations we enjoy, the complete absence of online trolls and the way nobody ever gives a sarcastic comment or incredibly weird question...
I knew exactly what you were talking about because I heard that joke before. I was just playing along with you. Some people just don't get the simplest things.

I do believe there are smarter people on the real world. It's incredible the stupidity there is in here. At least in the real world they back up when they're about to say something stupid

I cannot say anything certain before seeing answer. However, I think two reasons. First one is some people are just dumb obviously. Another reason is that English is not everyone's first language and things may be very confusing sometimes.
