According to the gospel of woke. Having been accused of using a racial slur should get you canceled and your life destroyed. It doesn't matter when or how long ago, you are irredeemable. I looked into it and she was mouthing the lyrics to a rap song by Tyler the Creator at 13-14. To cancel someone over singing rap music would cancel most high schoolers. If anything, I would expect people to be mad at Tyler, who actually wrote and sang the song. Also, this was an anti Asian slur, so Tyler wouldn’t get a “pass” for saying it. I really find circulating slurs in rap music to be counterintuitive and instead I just ignore that type of music. I personally don’t care for Eilish’s sound and emo vibes, so it doesn’t make a difference to me personally, but if I was a fan, I’d wait for more evidence before I stopped supporting her music.
It’s good that she apologized, but the woke left needs to pick their battles. She’s a kid. This girl doesn’t need to be canceled. We can’t expect teenagers to be perfect and kiss ass over every stupid mistake.

Why did she use racist slur in the first place? Although she is quite young, how long ago was it? @doopayo using racial slurs is not inherently racist, context and intent determines that.
Demonizing people for simply using certain words without understanding the context is very political. It's the SJW, radical left that is banning books like Huckleberry Finn.
I say racial slurs all the time, watch comedians like Dave Chappelle that do the same and so on.
But I would never look at a black person or whatever and judge them just because they look different. I know skin tone is just an arbitrary phenotype and that in biology, race is science fiction.
Saying racial slurs makes you a racist. Racism doesn't always mean you’re full on burning crosses.
If you participate in saying harmful racial slurs than you’re a racist, simple as that.

Yes, it’s ableist. Simple as that. Their are much more complex forms of comedy than just making fun of other people cause their different than you. That’s what literal children do, as a grown man I’m pretty sure you’re mature enough to be able to have a better sense of humor than that.
And their are multiple terms for racism, as racism is sadly not a one and done type of thing. You don’t have to explicitly stating far right extremist neo nazi views just to be called racist.

If you actually watched South Park than you’d know that south parks comedy wasn’t limited to whatever bs category you’re trying to put it into. South parks creators specifically have said the make satire social commentaries. Not “offensive” humor theirs a difference
