If Isreal has guns pointed at the Gaza Border, why doesn't the USA do that to Mexico?

Eh, Gaza is governed by a terrorist organization that aims to wipe out the State of Israel with at times frequent gunfire (in both directions).


Secondly, the most important means of mitigating entry from Gaza is a force-sensitive fence with soldiers ready to deploy. It means that if people cross it, they are often just intercepted (as in arrested), questioned and returned back.



Meanwhile, the USA has no such relationship nor threat with Mexico. It has no real threat from there with it also predominantly exercising the strategy of intercepting and returning.


Lastly, the border with Gaza is comparatively small with mostly beaches and open fields as the border. The border with Mexico is massive with way more difficult geological features.

Because Mexico doesn't lob middles at the US or present a constant and ominous threat to us. Palestinians on the other hand do to Israel.

I've read several books on the subject over the years. And I've argued with a lot of people who don't know a lot about it. It's really worth looking at the history. Israel's not totally innocent. But overall they have behaved in a more respectable manner. I don't know any other way to say it.
