this might sound like a simple question but it’s actually not, I mean I see this all the time some racists will say the most racist things and still deny that they are racist. They could be fired from their jobs and cancelled but they still won’t admit to being racist, I just don’t understand it, is it because they truly don’t know and don’t believe that they are racist or is it because most humans just have the instinct to deny that they are something that society thinks is bad

I remember talking to a Liberal/leftist once who had a racist themed ideology. I called her out on it. She claimed she couldn't be racist as her husband was Cuban. Yes, a Cuban of the higher social groups so he was more European and thus more "white" than the average Cuban. I almost died laughing. Do you think she admitted been racist when I pointed that out, nope.

I find many Liberals/leftist have that racist themed ideology. Look at I believe Australia last year where a bunch of dumb white leftist women were wearing hijabs to increase the a good impression for Muslims. The hijab happens to be a religious item, it's mentioned in the Qur'an, and it's offensive/demeaning for non Muslims to wear it. The Muslims may have thanked these women but were more than likely offended by their mere presence.

And this racist themed ideology is apparent in many leftist/Liberals in how they don't care to learn about the cultures or people they get all hot and bothered about. They oftentimes act as if others are inferior and can't stand up for themselves. This is examplifef a few years ago when a black lady essentially told the white people that were bitching on "her behalf" to shut down and fuck off...

As for those numbers, not only can I tell you that, I did tell you that, and I told you that because if we take the numbers of the largest hate groups compared to total population, you get that number. So not only can I say this but it is an absolute fact (give or take obviously).

So the issue is that we are using two different definitions of racism, so let me define it. Racism is discrimination based upon race, nothing else, not culture not behavior, not action, RACE. Your definition of racism is any one who disagrees with you or criticises you or blacks (or other minorities) based upon their actions (like when I point out that blacks are overwhelmingly responsible for murder in the US (about 52% despite being only 13% of the population)). Probably because people have different views on what is racist and they don't want to be called racist so if anyone ever tells them what they said was racist, they will throw a tantrum on the subject because people don't like being associated with the word, even when their opinions are actually exactly what it is.

The human brain has a way of categorizing certain groups of people (this is not only for race but gender, sexuality and even regional/socio economical differences). The mind has a way of taking “mental shortcuts”.

Anyway I would be a lot more open minded to re-examining my approaches if I didn’t see so much overt and very obvious racism from so called “oppressed”’groups of people. Just because their ancestors had it rough doesn’t give them an excuse to treat me like crap.

One possibility and what happens very often is people are accused of being racist when they are actually not and then they have to be fired because of the negative stigma, even if they were not racist.

Very often the people who call others racist are just dumb / assholes wanting to stigmatize others because they don't like what they might have said, even if it wasn't racist.

@cjmtherfcker But just because someone says they are racially offended doesn't mean they are justified to be or that they are even honest. Recently there was a guy who travelled in a train without a ticket and when he got kicked out he said it was racism because he was black. That's what people do all the time. They get caught doing something wrong and they blame it on racism. Or they failed to get a job and they blame it on their skin color.

Yes sometimes someone is racist, someone we can't tell if that's racially offensive to someone, but there are the third common possibility too which I'm pointing out. Sometimes when someone doesn't admit being racist is because they are not.

@cjmtherfcker Actually there was even crazier incident in my country recently that just came to my mind. There is this Somalian born politician who MADE UP a fake story how he got kicked off a taxi and the driver supposedly insulted him with racial slurs and then when they investigated it, it turned out to be fake story and then he admitted that he just made it up, but told the story because "this could happen"... Some people WANT to be able to call someone a racist and they go as far as creating a fake stories just so they can be the victim in their story. Being a victim is the new hero and people want to be that hero.

I'm saying sometimes people lie about feeling offended or they WANT to be offended, so they call people racist who were not being racist at all, just to be that victim/hero in their story. So sometimes the one "not admitting being racist" was not racist to begin with and that's why they "don't admit it"
