This vaccin is the first of it's kind (to my knowledge) it's not just a part of the decease or inactive cells injected so that your body gets a boosted immunsystem but it's rna strand that produces a foreign protein in your body. It's been tested in a lab but not nearly enough and The longterm effects has, ofcourse, not been recorded since it hasn't been around that long.
Given that medicine in The past has been with drawn because of unforseen sideeffects I don't find it all that difficult to understand why some are against it. In fact... I'm thinking of waiting myself to see if other people will start showing sideeffects after a year or so.00 Reply

+1 yBecause- on this particular occasion- they're not stupid enough to blindly trust authority. I'm not going to pretend it's an informed, researched decision on most of their parts, but risking unknown and potentially serious side effects from an untested gene therapy that's being called a vaccine strictly to remove its manufacturer's liability, for the sake of of avoiding a disease that's essentially harmless and only regarded as otherwise because the method of determining fatalities was changed, doesn't exactly require a genius to recognize as a bad bet.
Add to that that the pandemic is over in some US states, and they didn't see bodies piling up in the streets, or mass hospital admissions that completely overwhelmed the system (you may rest assured, sir, that Florida is laughing at you), and it's not hard to see why people have figured out that they've been had.20 Reply

+1 yI don't like the idea of taking a vaccine that was developed in such a rush.
I am sceptical about how bad the media is really saying it is.
I am an essential worker that have been out working constantly going in and out of people houses and have not met one person who has had this disease.
That is why I am passing on the shot.10 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yBecause people are super creepy about it.
e. g companies treating you differently, vaccine passports, the insane pressure from the culture on the issue making it a political identifier, laws trying to force it. It's toxic and dystopian. Fuck that. Every time I hear people being psycho about it or some new issue with it like the spike proteins, etc, I push it back a few months. I'll take it when you all learn to chill the fuck out about it and stop being psycho.11 Reply- +1 y
truee!!
I'm from France but...
I'm a healthy and athletic, not overweight, 18 years old man.
My mother got it and it went after a week, I likely got it without symptoms.
Why in the world would I need to inject myself with questionable liquids?
edit: my mom got vaccinated, no comment on that.00 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yBecause people don’t trust the government. The government has had an extensive reputation for being full of shit. Not caring so much about the interests of the people, but more so about money instead. A lot of people also believe that the dangers of COVID-19 have been insanely exaggerated, and there’s still a storm of uncertainty associated with the vaccine. That’s why.

+1 yHalf of them already had the virus and recovered, providing better immunity than the vax.
Tell us why they should, and why anyone would take a questionable innoculation when the recovery rate is already at 99.9% .08 Reply- +1 y
@thotmas97 - There's more to your story - you're operating on feelings. This isn't about ego. And you keep proving you're ill-informed. Oh well.

+1 ySome opinions have it that it may be the famous anticipated 666 "sign of the beast" Armageddon logo. So I guess that should be the leading reason. I guess

They are indeed scumbags who have manipulated the population.
Watching GMB and the fear and propaganda they pump out this morning.
Be careful with your children. They have Gillicks competence, where they deem the young capable of making their own decisions. Add that to peer pressure and conceivably they could get jabbed at school without your knowing or consent, before you could halt it.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yFor the same reasons everyone in the world doesn't want to take the vaccine.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yThey think it has micro chips in it or that they might die if they get it or that it’s more dangerous than actually getting Covid since it wasn’t FDA approved in normal ways

Opinion Owner+1 y@thotmas97 that’s the conspiracy theories I hear as reasons but I’m already fully vaccinated months ago and I’m fine
+1 yWell, simple, I choose not to. That's all there is to it.

@thotmas97 maybe, but I'm not going to.

@thotmas97 you're welcome to get angry, that is your prerogative. At the end of the day it's my body, I'll choose what I put into it. I understand the situation, am relatively young and healthy, and want no part of these injections. I'm not crazy, I don't think these vials are filled with microchips, I just do not want any part of these vaccines.

@thotmas97 you know not me, nor my loved ones. You're not privy to our numerous conversations over the past 18 months, you don't know our medical histories, nor our locality and available resources. You're pressing your emotional opinion against me, and all you're doing is making a mess.
I understand your point of view, and respect it, maybe try respecting mine. - +1 y
Oh step off the high road. You literally have said you’re personally comfortable risking your own life, I don’t buy for the second that your loved ones are fine with that choice. I also have no idea what your “locality” or “resources” has to do with getting a vaccination that’s been publicly available for months

@thotmas97 here is a surprise for you, no one in my home has recieved any COVID vaccine. None of us want it, we've had many detailed discussions on it. That's all you need know; and frankly had I known you were going to be an insufferable cunt I wouldn't have bothered replying to you in the first place. Want the vaccine? Get it. That's where your opinion ends.
- +1 y
@thotmas97 I know it is crazy, but it has absolutely nothing to do with you or your wants.
- +1 y
@thotmas97 sure, that's it, that's exactly what I said.
Have a great day. - +1 y
Don't mean to be dismissive, but couldn't the cause of deaths of these people be cause they are old and out of shape, rather than because they haven't had the vaccine?
I don't get why people think they can get away with having dreadful habits for the last 40 years of their life, and then think a shot in the dark is what is the arbiter of good health.
