Humans have urges. Some of those urges we have to sate to survive, like hunger and thirst, but many of them we don't. In fact many of those urges we mustn't sate. For example when we're angry we get to urge to yell and hit things, to destroy, when we're maybe feeling sad we get to urge to hurt ourselves or push people away. These are not urges that should be sated. Luckily we are not animals. We are not slaves to our urges and impulses. We can resist them. That is the main thing that separates us and animals. That's why we as a society frown upon people who cannot or choose not to control their urges. That's why most people consider it shameful to succumb to them, because it's considered animalistic and inhuman. If some guy were to urinate in public or throw things around and yell, etc. we would all look away and feel ashamed for him. It's the same with "slut shaming". Having multiple sex partners often indicates that you do not control your urges and that they control you. It indicates that you are more like an animal than a human and most people find this shameful.
(note: this works both ways. Men who sleep around with lots od women should be shamed just as much, and mostly are according to most people I've had this conversation with.)

Well to be honest, all of the females I've ever known in my life that were extremely promiscuous ended up not being very good people. One ex friend comes to mind in particular. She'd sleep with just about anyone who have her attention. Cheated on all of her boyfriends and said nasty things about me behind my back. A slut going around having unprotected sex with multiple partners can eventually catch an STD and pass it on to someone who doesn't live the same lifestyle and thus disrupting their morals. Slut shaming also helps prevent the influence of younger females to make similar bad decisions. You don't have to be slut shamed, but you should be ashamed to be a slut. Those that have damaged their ability to pair bond with a healthy partner do not understand these concepts.
