  Not where I live, if the driver of the vehicle has formed the view that if they stop they will be killed.
  That is under the law's 'reasonable person' test.
  If drivers have been attacked by protesters, the reasonable person would have the view that they would 'fear for their life' (the law's magic words) if they did not drive over the shitbags blocking the road.

  @cth96190 I agree, if you visit or live in an area that has unruly crowds, your job 1 is to stay alive. If you are being blocked, AND the crowd is being rowdy enough that they are causing damage to your vehicle, that is justification for leaving by any means possible.
