Voted - "neither." In fact, the differences between Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden, measured through any historical prism, could be measured with a micrometer. Grant that their rhetorical styles are somewhat different, but even in that there is less than meets the eye.
To start, in substantive terms, both Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden are populists. That is that they appeal not to some basic philosophic principles but rather to the latent resentments and envy that are prevalent in the culture.
Thus did Mr. Trump cost his party control of the Senate by, in effect, siding with the Democrat Speaker and (then) Minority Leader of the Senate on the question of COVID compensation. Thus has Mr. Biden staked his reputation to date on that very same policy. Thus did Mr. Trump begin the withdrawal from Afghanistan - and thus is Mr. Biden completing it.
In the latter case, both men in the matter of foreign policy do not - and did not - offer any strategic vision. Rather each is merely adopting an ad hoc agenda. Albeit that it is fair to say that though Trump lacked strategic vision, he often showed moments of some tactical acumen. (See also the Abraham Accords, for example.)
Not that there are not some differences. For example, Mr. Trump swore he would never raise taxes. Mr. Biden has limited that promise only to those making $400,000 a year or less. This amounting to less a difference in kind than a difference in degree. With, either way, both men pledging that they will not ask the American public to pay for the government it so ardently demands - even as it swears up and down and against all available evidence that it detests government.
In the matter of immigration, Mr. Biden has been the anti-Trump in terms of policy. However, here the nature of populism is laid bare. Populism is not a schematic philosophy like conservatism or liberalism. Rather it is, as noted, an appeal to resentment and envy and thus lacks any consistent agenda.
Thus on immigration, Mr. Trump's populism appealed to the lower middle blue collar working class which sees illegal immigration as both a threat to the rule of law and as an economic challenge. Whereas Mr. Biden's populism appeals to the upper middle class and, ironically, business interests which see immigration as a source of cheap labor and as demonstrating a sort of humanitarianism.
Add it all up, and both men were - and are - relatively substance free. Proffering policies less rooted in any conception of human nature than in slaving a culture of bitterness that has been reinforced by a social media and hyperventilating news headlines.
Then in personal terms, Mr. Trump was - and is - to be sure, bombastic and self-regarding. This has been well documented and came out again in his recent Fox News interview where. when asked if he ran what agenda he would run on, Mr. Trump replied, in so many words, his past greatness.
Whereas Mr. Biden has tended to be self-regarding and peevish. See also the latter's deeply resentful reaction to media questions that he deems impertinent. Such as the case when a CNN reporter had the effrontery to ask him if he should not upgrade his COVID shot targets. Mr. Biden seemed to take the question as a personal affront.
Bottom line, Mr. Biden to date, and Mr. Trump after one term, are one in a long line of largely unremarkable figures dating back to the Clinton presidency. Figures whose terms were not without both failures and achievements, but that on the whole left the country more or less where it had been.
Who then, of Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden was the more perfect President? They are a distinction without a substantive difference. They were rather imperfect in a similar mode with differences largely at the margins.
Both are far from perfect but, in terms of job performance, I can't think of anything that Biden has done well so far.
Both were far from perfect. Trump was actually calling shots and making moves though, while Biden does what he's told. Both heavily emphasize huge weaknesses in their respective parties, however:
Despite being the party of decentralized government and much greater diversity of thoughts and solutions, the Republican party is little more than a sideshow when they don't have a president with a spine made of something stronger than jello to rally behind. They had two whole years of dominating all branches of government and did absolutely nothing with it other than actively sabotaging their own president (likely because he was undermining their own shady backdoor dealings). One of my biggest criticisms of Obama's admin was how after two years of total control the only thing they managed was a botched passing of the ACA, but the Republicans lowered the bar even further by doing absolutely nothing of value. The result was Trump ended up doing almost everything of value through executive orders. That allowed Biden's admin to literally throw everything- all the trade deals, all the peace treaties, energy independence; everything out the window on his first few days in office. The bottom line is most of that is entirely the fault of the Republican party (and especially Paul Ryan) for being spineless shitstains. The only Republicans of any note seem to be entirely in governor positions these days.
Then there's the Democrats... With the Democrats, the office of the president frankly doesn't matter at all. No matter who says what during the primaries, they all ultimately are forced to tow the line and follow the same, often increasingly radical agenda. Basically every Democrat since the death of JFK has been little more than an empty suit to stick in front of the cameras and put on a show while figures outside of the limelight dictate the direction of the party, and the country when in control. If you were to look at the differences in policy between Obama and Hillary, they were negligible. Between Hillary and Sanders, they were almost entirely the same talking points presented differently. Sleepy Joe was packed and sold as a harmless old moderate in a sea of radical trash, yet his administration's policies and stances since taking office are very far left, much closer to the rhetoric of Kamala Harris and other unpopular primary candidates the media failed to prop up. In other words, they're selling you the used car salesman, and you're getting the same beater car no matter what.
So between two presidents, there's no contest, Trump is the better option. Otherwise the party comparison is like asking whether incompetence and incohesion or maliciousness and disconnect is preferable.
I prefer the guy who doesn't hide in a bunker & then demand the person (s) who leaked the story be killed for "treason". Or how about the guy who DIDN'T tell people the inject bleach. Or the guy who didn't try to sweep Covid under the rug as a "democratic hoax". Or how about the guy who didn't incite people to commit treason against the US by storming the capitol. Or the guy who didn't call our service men & women "Suckers & Losers".
I love how youโre getting hate for telling the truth. Iโm glad not everyone on this app is an idiot.
@Sweepthelegjonny oh, it's okay, i knew when i posted it people were going to hate me. Its not my fault they can't handle the fact that their golden idol is just a polished turd.
Trump is like the turd you get when all you eat are carrots for two weeks. Everything you saying is true though. We were a laughing stock when trump was elected then when Biden won we were getting congratulated by other countries. Anyways I can't wait until the first Mexican or women wins. It's going to be hilarious how the extreme right react to this one.
Best thing about Trump is that he is just a regular chump, not some political asshole like Clinton or Biden.
Also showed that anybody can be the president in the US, if people follow and support them. Of course the old timers in the politics werent too happy about that 😅
And Trump actually started and made some good moves. Biden still has time but i don't expect much from him, same of the old politician crap.
You can't ask which president is better because 1 of them is not a president. And never will be. He is a puppet. I'm 45 years old, and in my life, Trump by far surpassed all other presidents and got shit done 20 other presidents couldn't. #TEAMTRUMP... MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
I'm team Biden but honestly I don't care if you aren't for him. Personally though I don't think trump is the best, he's basically being called worse than Nixon. People say he's the best but he's going to be known as the first president to be empeached twice, definitely not leaving a good image on the future generations. Anyways it's time to move on, past is past
Agreed. Have a blessed day.
Trump's an idiot savant; he has good instincts about human nature and lives the dark side of it, but he was born into privilege, so he knows very little about the common person and what they go through to survive.
Biden is actually a very good President because he has an excellent balance of experience and vision.
Neither is perfect. No president is perfect but some are better than others.
Trump, though, was better than Dubya and O'Bomber (Dubya II) and 100x better than President pervy-sniffy-feely, who has always been completely useless and is now in the late stages of dementia. I don't know who's running this country, but it ain't Biden. And in actuality, how are his actual actions are no better and little differnt than Trump's?
I disagreed with a lot of what trump did, but as a president he didn't do a bad job. He was unpopular and a loud mouth sure. But I don't need to like him for him to do his job. To me Biden just seems to be reacting from one situation to another. Not really having a clear picture of a plan I agree or disagree with.
Neither. Both of them are communal and corrupt as fuck, puppets of the Zionists.
Trump is an idiot whose propaganda and corruption falls dead in front of everyone.
Biden is smart but his corruptions don't come up to the surface as openly as Trump's and he 'kills more progressively'.
No one is perfect, but Biden is corrupt as hell, a CCP stooge and a traitor. His administration is violating the rights of US citizens and is a racist one.
I mean he fought to preserve segregation in the past. Its true
Although far from perfect I liked Trump and I do not like the man, but what he had done for the country was great. Biden is brain dead can not put two words together without loosing it. He is giving the country away. We are in grave danger of loosing everything with his left swing he has just about broken every campaign promise he made. ,
I watched President Trump speak at the CPAC on Sunday and couldn't help but compare the two men. Trump was focused and had the ability to lead the crowd. I watch Bugsy Biden and cannot see how he can function in the world's most difficult job.
Objectively speaking, Biden is worse. Let's put it that way.
I know you're trolling, but I'm just going to roll with it and choose Trump.
The better question would be which is less incompetent? Biden is less so in my opinion. I voted for Biden because he wasn't Trump, not because he was an especially great candidate.
Trump things Biden is keeping:
Wray
DeJoy
Children from cages to shipping containers
Funding Netanyahu genocide and apartheid
Selling arms to 9/11 perps
Increased pentagon budget
war on Iran
war on Venezuela
war on Bolivia Supreme Court
Immunity program for war criminals
What? They are both total garbage. One is just worse than the other.
Biden by far.
He's like an educated adult in charge. Whereas Trump is like a fucking ADD teen making it up as he goes along just to get back at his parents.
At first I couldn't figure out why the Dems would want a president with dementia, but now I'm seeing it as a pretty good strategy.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/W8NoI_foKDYTrump, he's not perfect in fact as a person he's a bit of a dick, but he achieved roughly 75% of his election manifesto, and had more POC in the workforce and had drawn more manufactures back to the US in his term of office
Both suck ass, but Biden is better.
Go ahead guys, thumbs me down all you want.
They are both terrible but Biden is 100000x better than trump in every way.
No contest, Donald Trump, he's the best president we've had since Reagan. Biden is already quite possibly the worst president in history and it hasn't even been a year yet
Neither of the above. If there was a 3rd candidate on the ballot I would vote for them, as long as it wasn't Hillary Clinton.
None of them are perfect, but in my opinion Biden is way, way, way preferable to Trump. Was just reading about how one of the last things Trump did in office was to pardon the Blackwater mercenaries responsible for massacring loads of civilians.
Neither one is anywhere close to perfect. If I had to choose one, I'd choose Trump because although he's narcissistic and confrontational, he at least tells you what he thinks without being deceptive or having an ulterior motive.
Neither are perfect. I feel Biden won the presidency simply because he's not too liberal and he isn't Trump.

Trump was a thousand times better than China's puppet. JoJo.
Biden and has been even more protectionist and isolationist on Trade policy, and foreign policy than TRUMP. In fact you could say he is Trump on steroids.
Trump hands-down. Biden is a pile of crap look at all the gas prices skyrocket look at all the food prices skyrocket. He stopped the Muslim ban and stopped construction on the Border wall
How is this even a question? Economy was coming back after idiots needlessly shut the economy.
Then Joe took over, lumber 400%, gas $1, food cost up 50%.
Yeah... mumbling Joe Biden.
Exactly
Trump of Course. Look how it's going already after 6 months it's a disaster
Neither are perfect, both are trash Presidents in my opinion.
Tell me, Trumpers, what part of playing golf and filling the coffers of his own properties, is presidential?
That's like choosing between drowning or choking to death. They both are bad
nobody's perfect and its not against the law to lie but the over weight guy with the hair piece doesn't live in the real world
I voted Trump for this because he did a lot more to better than the United States than Biden has so far. Both are far from perfect though.
Well, Trump had 4 years and Biden's had 6 months so, give him a chance
I'd have to say Biden since having a lunatic loose in the White House doesn't sound like the perfect situation to me.
When was the last time Joe Biden addressed the public?
since January wtf has Joe Biden done that's actually good?
"more perfect"? they are both massively fucked. i think biden worse than trump.
The voting on this question shows why women's suffrage was a mistake.
Lol... its like asking who's better to have in your house, rats or roaches. 😔
No one is perfect. But one at least tried to accomplish something for the good of the United States!
You forgetting that this app Is republican dominated
Biden is a figurehead for a group that has an agenda to implement. He is not a leader. He is simply following the group that helped fund his campaign during the primaries.
Biden is a classic politician, which is not preferable. On the other hand, Trump is an incompetent (thankfully) fascist Lol.
- The over-worshipping of western civilization, and the warning of thug-like people who are coming (to your suburbs) to destroy the culture of our forefathers.
- "Get 10 years in jail if you burn the American flag"?
Two things off the top of my head, just watch his speech on July 4th 2020 in Mount Rushmore :)
The idea of patriotism is for me just a way for leaders to convince people that they ought to sacrifice for the "nation" which they happen to be born in. It's a cult as far as am concerned. No problem loving the people you know or thinking that ideas upon which the country is founded are good or even great ideas. but to devote yourself to the "nation" as an abstract idea is something i am against. Also fascist leaders use it to convince the people that even doing the worst things is justified so long as it's done to preserve the nation or the nation's culture / values. You see any problems with that?
No one is perfect , except if I were President of course.
Other than Trumps big mouth, Trump was the best of the best.
Pro law enforcement, pro military, pro legal immigration, pro America, I could go on and on. Was he perfect? No, nobody is.
Trump by a long shot. I watched Biden's Afghanistan speech and couldn't stop laughing. AT him.
I'd rather have a pussy grabber than an Alzheimer's
Biden literally helped Israel in the genocide of Palestines. Trump is, words can't describe how disgusting and corrupt that "THING" is
Biden is a useless piece of crap. Thatโs the nicest way I can say it
Neither, both are two sides of the same coin
Blowing my Trumpet!!! xxoo
Grammatically, both will be 'perfect' soon enough.
neither
p. s. google the word perfect
Biden is better than the worst.
