You mean the Irish? They were indentured servants not slaves and they chose to be in that position + they left once they paid of debts and they didn’t have to serve for generations like many black slaves had to in the Caribbean and Americas

@Birdlegs slaves were of all races, it can’t be compared to the race based slavery that happened from the transatlantIc slave trade where someone’s skin color was a lifelong sentence of slavery. The severity and scale of the two are just not comparable

I get that but the estimated numbers are very unreliable so the plausibility that it’s had a long term effect on any white people is small. Especially since most white people don’t even know the Barbary slave trade existed in the first place
