Did you ever notice that Democrats in government praise public schools, but send their kids to private schools? What's up with that? They don't want THEIR kids to go to shitty schools, but they very much want YOUR kids to go to shitty schools.

Before you say that private schools are too expensive, consider this:

No, because government teachers are much smarter than private teachers

No, because having government schools makes it much easier to brainwash students

Let me just clarify this for the mentally challenged people.

I'm talking about you being to send your kids to a PRIVATE school, with no out-of pocket expenses to you. I'm not talking about paying for a private school. I'm not talking about home schooling. I'm not talking about having your six year old join the military.

My daughter goes to an all girls public school (that’s private in the UK lol).

I pay for her education so that she can get good tuition, be taught in certain key subjects and not have to put up with people unable to make the grade.

the last thing I would want is it being diluted with people not able to make the grade.

She's lucky to have a father like you. There's no reason that even the poorest children can't go to private schools, because it wouldn't cost any more than public schools. But the sleazy politicians are paid off by the teacher's union, so we're left with these worthless teachers in public schools.

But that’s the thing it does.

You need sports gear for every sport not just generic.

You need specific uniforms, throughout the year, summer dresses, kilts etc.

Then there are things like balls, various clubs, trips away to other countries.

All those need paid for, you cannot expect government to pick up all the tabs. Equally you cannot have pupils not going places or not fitting in because their parents cannot afford it.

Bursary grants are highly competitive and are given to those who will try and achieve.

The last thing anyone wants are children from poor background in the private system.

Life is not fair, you fight for what works for you.

When I say "private school" I'm not talking about anything fancy. As long as you have a teaching background, you should be able to open your own private school. If a mom or dad can home school their kids, so could a tiny private school with a dozen or more students.

And I think that sports should be taken out of schools, and be in a shared community center.

Sports are not so much about the actual sports themselves but the team work, having competitions.

If you try and find things like lacrosse or shinty etc you don’t,

It costs extra cash to attend some sports.

A decent reflex bow (limbs and riser) and arrows etc is not cheap.

The free market will determine the curriculum. We have private schools already and presumably the reason people spend the money to send their kids there is because they get a better education and get into a better college.

Not always. Many parents send their children to private schools to keep their children from being exposed to science that contradicts their belief in the inerrancy of the Bible. This does not help their children get into college.
