Generally, no, they're not. However, I suspect there is at least one bar with the same theme as that of 'Coyote Ugly' in every major metropolis in the USA. I've been to such a bar in Austin (Texas), Dallas (Texas), Tampa (Florida), NYC (New York), etc. Not all of them are as much fun as they looked in the movie.

Not any I've ever been in, in fact the few I've been in are mostly a bunch of old guys who are likely alcoholics, very few women and when they walk in they get hit on more than a nail by a hammer and they aren't all that great either. Usually just regulars, going in to get their daily dose.

Most are not like that. However, if you go to Austin, Texas, down on Sixth Street, there’s an actual Coyote Ugly bar, and they try to recreate that atmosphere, with attractive female bartenders who dance on the bar, etc.

Honestly, it’s kind of lame there in my experience, I only stayed for one drink. Mostly just corny, thirsty dudes in attendance, lmao

There is an actual chain of bars called Coyote Ugly here. The only I’ve been to in Nashville wasn’t too much like the movie though. Not nearly as fun as I expected.

There is a chain of bars called Coyote Ugly based on that movie. The girls that work there do get up and dance around. But the one in my city went out of business - don't know if it was because of covid or just a stupid business plan. I went to the one in Las Vegas and it was pretty lame.

Some are. The movie was based on Hogs and Heifers in NYC. And I have a local bar called The Hardware Bar where there's a very similar vibe. But they aren't exactly the majority..

I'd suggest you get into the Rave scene. It's not exactly the same vibe, but way less oversight than an insured bar/pub.

Except for the actual bars named “Coyote Ugly” i’d say no. I have been in 2 of the franchises in Florida. The one in Tampa (Ybor City) is pretty crazy
