We fought China before in the Korean War they weren't tough then
that was 70 years ago, things have changed
They still have not seen as much up front combat as wre have they have not tested their war machines on actual countries and people we have great men who have seen combat back to back teaching others how to shoot to kill, what does China have different terrain practice? Shooting at targets and berms? Matter fact if pulled out all our trade and business out of china they would collapse, do you know why Hitler and the Nazi's were so tough? Back to back combat before WW2, why the British were strong? Back to back combat the terrains we train on are so universal we have the battle readiness they are remedial and better hope their surge of numbers save them from the bald eagle. China is not scary
while the US does have a large professional military what you don't seem to understand is that it will be a total war. 340million vs 1.5 billion is insane outnumbered. Not even the Germans were outnumbered that bad in WW2. So a total war means national mobilization and If you thought Afghanistan was bad China would be 1000x worse. Also look at the average person whose my age and ask yourself if they'd fair well as a soldier whose likely to die in war.
You can turn a weirdo into a man with corrective training, also we have the power of NATO on our side and various other allies who want beef with China a world war like that would be vast and great we are the ultimate force and we surround Russia and China in Europe and Asia China can't fight us and the whole world and those people in their country pack themselves in a few missiles would shorten their numbers as they could throw back at us but we have bases all Europe and asia that can keep unloading on them from all angles

In every war we been in when has one sat out? Since WW2, KOREA, VIETNAM, KOSOVO AND SERBS, DESERT SHEIILD, AFGHANISTAN & IRAQ and some other conflicts we got into that were special ops but the UN provided support when needed at anytime every war we been in it's always a joint taskforce.
France sat out multiple times and even left NATO, The Germans will never fight Russia because they're dependent on their oil and they are pacifists.
France are wussy though lol they always get beat up they get slapped around by terrorist twice we don't need them and Germany will fight they cried if Trump pulled forces from the base in Germany they were in Fear if Russia invading lolol they hate Russia
France is actually Europe's strongest military (after Russia) but hey, my pessimism is only out of concern that the USA and its allies will lose the war which I think is very possible if we don't get our crap together
