Half of you guys missed the point here.
There are no "alpha" males. There are idiots using these words and it's these idiots I have a strong disdain. It's these idiots, that are troublemakers and almost no one likes having around.
If you want to sound scientific, then at least dive into some real science or mathetmatics, not follow or become one of those obnoxious idiots, who call others beta or cuck.

That depends who are you and what are you bringing to the table and how old are you. If you're fat and below average then you probably won't believe in these things and won't even bother to get into it. But in the real life it's fact girls are into bad boys more than alpha male. Alpha is rough and strong have other options and sleep around that's sexy to them. No. You are not the only one. I personally find such men who use those terms in an uneducated matter are just toxic. And those are the ones you personally stay away from. However, thankfully some men feel the same also. Basically, toxic men are not attractive to be around. And if there was an alpha, it would be a toxic men. I've talked to people in the manosphere and over time I have found that just like in real life the loudest barker rarely has the bit to back it up. The alpha males dont need to go around saying or trying to be alpha males. Trying to toughen up men too much can really mess them up. They have to come into their own and of course they will reach their own natural state of being. No one needs to project what they want or expect on their kids. You can't force somebody to live the way you want them to at the end of the day. Once that child reaches adulthood you need to respect them enough to give them the same freedoms you were given to find who they are and what they want to become weather you like the results or not. You can only nudge them in the right direction but you can't force march them there.

That's what I've learned as a man. I have a mixture of alpha and beta traits. A man will be his own man. When you try to say "I'm alpha" you look like the biggest beta in the world and I just cringe. You don't sound secure in yourself if you have to say it. That means there is an image problem and you are projecting it on the world. If you're not a top dog thats okay. Just accept it for what it is! It doesn't mean your life is worth any more or less than other men's. We are defined by our incomes, our height, our looks. That's what people might judge you one, but that has nothing to do with WHO YOU ARE!

It's not surprising. People who need to constantly assure how "alpha males" they are, are just cringe and seem desperate. Confident people don't need to go around and advertise how confident they're, insecure people need to do that. They've finally experienced small dose of testosterone in their system and got their first visible muscle and now they're acting all cocky and thinking they are the shit.

However I do think terms like alpha and beta males are valid terms, because there are men (and women) who are confident that other men respect and want to follow and women chase, and then there are those who people don't really care about. But when you start to use the terms to assure your own social status, it just becomes embarrassing.

Because pretty much all studies on that matter have proven that women are attracted to men with a high social and/or socioeconomic status - aka an alpha male.
