Trump had a lot of reasons to catch flak, and much of the criticism leveled was against him personally v. those who voted for him. However, now that he is out of the way entirely (has not even a media platform to speak on v. his own websites) it is obvious he was a roadblock.
Trump was a class traitor to the top 1% of the 1% and off the influential figures he was once friends with. He warned that things were only getting worse, more restrictive, and more desolate.
Sure enough, the billionaires and corporations are surging in profits right now, the government is becoming less transparent and instead more authoritarian, and your average individual is worse off now than they were just a few years ago. Of course Trump wasn't able to stop these things but he was a roadblock, and he was far from perfect but having someone in office who was chaos in a system that demands molded compliance to certain interests was great.

Meanwhile, other ethnicities like Asian-Americans and Native Americans account for 8% of all recipients.

Yes Obama deported a lot of them but Trump didn't let them in the country in the first place.
It is estimated that one illegal alien costs taxpayers between $30,000 and $50.000 a year, every year. Multiply that by two or three or four million and the number gets big pretty quick.
The democrats just lifted the ceiling on asylum seekers from 2 million to 20 million. It shows what their intentions are. Once the US takes in all the indigent people from Afghanistan you have to wonder where they will go next.
