Between the two of them, they had/have over a century of charity and humanitarian work. Should that be negated simply because they're religious figures who shared and spread their religious beliefs? In fact, Pope Francis has progressive beliefs when it comes to the handling of illegal immigration, and supports marriage equality. The only major conservative view Pope Francis still has is he's pro-life, and that's because he's against all human-induced termination of life (anti-death penalty as well).
Mother Theresa was god awful who believed people should suffer to get to heaven. And Francis refuses to hand over pedo priests or acknowledge victims.

@OddBeMe Mother Theresa believed that the suffering go to heaven, not that you *needed* to suffer to go to heaven. There's a difference. "Blessed are the meek, blah, blah, blah..."

Do you expect him to single-handedly undo and correct decades of crimes and transgressions from around the world in minutes? He's doing a lot for victims and making changes, far more than any of his predecessors.
