CO2 levels are now higher than they’ve been at any time in the past 800,000 years. Humans have only been on the planet for 100,000 years.
But “weather changes” and science now doesn’t matter unless it’s pre approved by corporate shareholders.
According to Paul Beckwith, University of Ottawa…. Kevin Anderson, Tindall Center…. Mark Lynas, author of the book 6 Degrees… Rupert Read, Univ of East Anglia… and Guy McPherson, formerly University of Arizona…. There’s no coming back.
However according to some college dropout guy who reads comments on the internet, between football games, all of those people have no idea what they’re talking about.
Destroying the earth? Absolutely fucking not. Infringing on every other species habitats? Yes. We have done that for tens of thousands of years. And unless you want to kill or sterilize a significant portion of humans, which I don't, this will stay the same. I do think we should take opportunities to recreate those habitats. For example stop cutting lawns in cities all at once and close to the ground. It would be great to improve hydroponics and make agricultural skyscrapers, freeing up more land for nature.
Yes we are. Each year that goes by we can see the damage that we are doing to planet Earth and we're doomed.
I don't know, but I do know that no one cares enough to do anything about it.

They're fucking it up bad - mostly by destroying ecosystems, wiping out biodiversity and species, and polluting our water, land and air with the most horrific poisons. Carbon dioxide is the least of our problems. The destruction is unsustainable. Science and technology won't fix it.
The Earth is in better shape than it was when I was growing up. At least you never hear of rivers catching fire from all the pollution and I cannot remember the last time I saw photochemical smog in the summer.
there is a local river here that was famous for being dirty. You can now swim in it.
I shake my head at the stupidity of all of you. The statistics show vast improvement across the board when it comes to pollution and preservation. Can't you see that you are being manipulated? They have everyone concvinced that the sky is falling but the truth is that they are not talking about the massive reversals just since the 50s, 60s, 70s.
I hope that we do destroy the earth so that you fuckatrds can go with it
The SINFUL BEHAVIOR of humans is causing the Earth to "belch" and "quake".
The Earth was never designed to accommodate the level of immoral sin that humans are engaging in.
That's why Jesus is going to HAVE to return very soon (lest no flesh be saved).
Also... human-caused Global Warming is complete MALARKY.
Independent/Republican (depending on who runs), no opinion.
But still would be nice if we had cleaner water, air, and food. That I can get behind.
Don't be daft.
Humans aren't doing any favours to themselves. The Earth doesn't really care.
Yes, they help create these forest fires, California is ready to sink into the Pacific Ocean
Absolutely not. The Earth will be here long after humans have gone extinct and it will be a wonderful greenhouse. Like Venus.
We're not being very good to our host.. And it's getting more and more angry
We are using more natural resources than we should and not replenishing what we can so good, but we're not destroying it.
We could never destroy the Earth. Don't think so highly of us.
