We've been harming it for centuries but, most people stil don''t give a flying fuck about it!! Look at all the litter on the streets and elsewhere!! I don't smoke but I'm ALWAYS finding butts in my front yard!! Because, if you're a smoker, the world is your ashtray!!
About 10 miles from here is a town that has a sewer on nearly every corer but none of them can do their job very well because every one of them is overflowing with garbage! We had a micro-burst here a few years back and I just happened to be on my way over there when it hit to see my girlfriend. It started just before I got on the bus and was over about 5:00 later before I got off and, just before my stop at her place, we were stuck for a while in a line of traffic because the street below hers was flooded knee deep and some idiot flooded out his car by trying to drive through it!! It's the lowest St. in that area and the one with the most garbage in the sewers!! Had the garbage not been there, I doubt there would've been a flood!!
A few years ago, I was in downtown waiting for another bus and spotted some girl at least in her late teens if not her late 20's. Someboody WELL old enough to know better!! She was LEANING ON a public garbage can with a large drink cup in her hand and was drinking it with a straw. She took her last drink from the cup and, as soon as she pulled the straw from her mouth, she simply opened her hand and let the cup fall to the ground like she never had it in the first place!! She's LEANING ON a GARBAGE CAN!!! But she couldn't make the effort to put her cup INTO the can? That's the height of laziness!!! I HAVE to wonder if those people do that shit at home, too, or would they be at all pissed off if I went to their place and did the same thing? Even today, I'll go to the store, get out of the car and spot several used face masks on the ground in the parking lot while there's at LEAST two garbage cans just outside the door of the store!!! It's bad enough that people are just to motherfucking lazy to throw their garbage into the garbage cans provided for them but, here we are in the midst of this pandemic and, instead of throwing your possibly corrupted, infected mask away in a garbage can, you're going to just toss the motherfucker on the ground where anybody can possiblly get this disease on their shoes and transfer it to their car or home? Yeah, SMART FUCKING MOVE!! Good way to flatten the curve!!

If the Earth wants to get rid of us, it will.
Also, that's not how tropical cyclone meteorology works. The Galveston Hurricane of 1900 (Category 4), the Labor Day Florida Keys Hurricane of 1935 (Category 5), the Long Island/New England Express of 1938 (Category 3), Hurricane David in 1979 (Category 5), and Hurricane Allen in 1980 (Category 5), were all around the same size (area) as Hurricane Irma. Meanwhile Hurricane Camille in 1969 (Category 5) was smaller than Hurricane Andrew in 1992, and Hurricane Patricia in 2015 (Category 5) in the East Pacific was a similar size to Hurricane Andrew. The "category" of a Hurricane (tropical cyclone) is based on Saffir-Simpson scale of wind speed, not size by area, and the strength of a tropical cyclone is measured by very low barometric pressure. The strongest (870 mb) and largest (~1,380 miles across) hurricane on record was Typhoon Tip in 1979 (Category 5) in the West Pacific. The second strongest (872 mb) was the aforementioned Hurricane Patricia in 2015, the third strongest (882 mb) was Hurricane Wilma in 2005, the fourth strongest (888 mb) was Hurricane Gilbert in 1988, and the fifth strongest (892 mb) was the aforementioned Labor Day Florida Keys Hurricane of 1935.
Iceburgs are literally melting, if you don’t believe in climate change now you’ll definitely believe in climate change once all those rising sea levels and ancient viruses and pathogens that have been tucked away inside the ice for centuries comes in at full force 🤷🏽♀️
I believe in climate change, and I think that virtue signaling will make it go away.

We are, however there is no real solution.
Man-made climate change is a distraction I believe. Climate change has always happened, there have been much warmer periods than today in the past, and much cooler periods.
It’s a distraction because the real damage is caused by pollution and deforestation, as well as the depletion of finite, non-renewable resources.
Most “green solutions” also cause heavy pollution and are no better for the Earth. They’re not real solutions, they’re only pushed for profit.
The main reason we cause damage is because our modern way of life with modern technology is dependent on those things. Modern technology is actually the root cause, and nobody is going to get rid of that until we’re forced to. Most people will instead just hope that scientists figure it out. You're fucking DELUDED if you think we can harm the planet
This planet has lived before us and will outlast us
I absolutely despise those who think because they we can make some fancy bombs and put shit in the air that the planet is OMFG DYING!!!
This planet even if we detonated 100 tsar bombs on every continent will stand the test of time, it was here before us, it is here now and it will be here after us. Humans need to be humbled by nature, maybe then they'll realise they are insignificant. Not a difference at all. I can tell no difference. This years temps were down from last year. This year was just like my first 15 years in Lawn Service. I usually mow through July and August is every other week. Sometimes Sept. The last 10 years it has been mowing through August, then Sept is every other week. So basically , I have same season number of mows. One year it was really warm , like 25 years ago, I mowed through January and that was my longest season , like 40 , average is 33 mows.
I know weather with my job. Total rain was lower this year then last two years. Again when I was a kid we had more 100 degree days than now."Appears that weather is worsening in correlation to our pollution rates."
The worst polluters are China and India by far. We continue reduce or vastly lower chemical pollution and C02 footprint. Your speculation is propaganda from schools and government.Yea we are there no question we definitely have an effect. It’s debatable on how much effect we’re having on the earth but humans definitely have an effect on the earth. The good news is we’re not going to completely destroy the earth (unless there a nuclear war) the most that would happen is we get weather similar to the jurassic period and things got big during that time. If I remember right that’s when the giant sequoias got their start
You kind of need concrete, provable evidence over long periods of time.
There has ALWAYS been weather and storms and hurricanes and earthquakes and tornadoes and droughts and floods and there always will be.
You can't just mindlessly say... lots of bad weather. Yep, humans caused it... case closed.
That is just ridiculous. We are not doing this planet any good.
We're not going to really harm the planet, it's gotten through numerous cataclysms since it formation billions of years ago far worse that what we're doing.
We are just hastening the demise of the human population faster than it needs to be.It's a bit stupid to think we're not harming the earth.
Humans are worsening the situation.
Humans are, in a large part, responsible.Yeah, and it's "fighting back" with bioweapons.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/TPpoJGYlW54Remember it was laxing of an endangered species act that lead to this mess.
If tropical activity is your metric then the media did their job.
Yes we are but also the planet goes through cycles so a mixture of both
Yes, we've doing that for a very long time. The proof is all around us.
I dont get it, why dont we just reatart the earth like we do our smartphones when it gets slow?
Without a doubt. But lets keep using coal power. So the milkman can keep his menial job.
The only people pushing manmade climate change are people like Al Gore who got rich because of it.
Remember the richter scale for earthquakes... that one isn't used anymore bc earthquakes got way harder...
Humans aren't harming the Earth. The Earth is harming humans. The Earth will be fine.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/7W33HRc1A6cThe earth is kinky and I'm it's dominatrix.
No we’re not the media filled our heads with these lies over the years while these things happen naturally once every few years.
