Falling in love with my foster brother.. what to do?

So I have been l have been living with a girl friend of mine for two years now since my parents sort if kicked me out. I share the top floor with her older brother who is 21 years old (I am 18).

He is truly the sweetest and most down to earth guy I know and I know he would never do any harm (I've been through a tough time). I am afraid that I am falling in love with him the more I get to know him and see him every day. I havd tried to forget him by going out to clubs and hooking up with other guys, but that doesn't work.

What should I do? Obviously I can't flirt or try to date him because that would have to big of an impact on my living situation. Please help me, thanks!

Honestly as much as this probably sucks to hear, I don't think you should pursue it as long as you still live in the same house as him. If things go wrong it would be terrible for you and him both and if you do work out good together, it's already kind of way too serious from the start because you already live together things might move too quickly and be uncomfortable. Thank you for your advise! I think that things would work out really well if we were in a different place and time. Our relationship now is very mature eventhough we aren't romantically involved. Guess I'll just have to wait till I move out.

this could well for u if he likes you and the family does but maybe you need to figure him out more before you do a drastic move.

No, he hasn't. I mean I know he likes being with me and spending timd together. But he doesn't interact with girls mch and certainly wouldn't show any romantic feelings towards me for the same reasons I don't. I think you are right, although it is hard.

Yes, well we have breakfast together in the weekends and walk the dog together. Never to intimste though

ok well good news if ur remotely attractive the idea cross his mind. try doing more with him. just to start. guys dont friend zone unless ur unattractive. so slow and steady in this case. unless u just want his body than i have other advice.

Guys do friendzone no matter how you look. If he perceived your situation to be risky he might be worried about your wellbeing. Not every guy thinks entirely from his dick.
