Do you think having lots of children you can’t afford will lead to poverty?

Black males account for the highest amount of any race in prison. Do you think a criminal record will hamper your ability to earn good money? I do. How is it these black men ended up in jail? Is it whities fault? No. It’s their own fault. Do you think that a criminal record helps lead to poverty?

As of July, 2021, do you know which race had the highest unemployment level? Blacks. Amazing I know! Do you think not having an income leads to poverty? I’m pretty sure it does. Why are these people unemployed. Let me guess. There are signs on the store of every business across the country that says: “we don’t hire n*ggers” right? Wrong. Blacks get preferential hiring treatment. It’s called affirmative action. Blacks have an advantage over whites in gaining employment.

What do all these things have in common? Personal responsibility or lack there of. The field is more than level in favor of blacks.

How come some blacks are hugely successful and many are not? What is it that the ones who started out in poverty and lifted themselves are doing that the rest are not?

The same is true of any person of any race. In fact the issue really goes past race. There are haves and have nots in every race. Certainly there are factors beyond a persons control that can hamper success. A person can’t necessarily control if they get cancer for example. A person can’t control a drunk driver plowing into them and wrecking their life.

That said racism is not the cause of black poverty. The problem often boils down to individuals and their choices.

You can examine the stats. Are blacks who are in prison (the highest amount of any race) there because of racism or because they committed a crime? If someone gets knocked up by a dead beat dad my question is: “why are you letting losers have unprotected sex with you to start with? Right now we have a labor shortage and unemployment problem. Is this because blacks can’t find jobs? Many business will now wave drug tests and many other things to get employees. What’s the excuse because blacks are the most unemployed race? Racism?

Ultimately a persons lot in life mostly falls on the individual.

I appreciate the kind words. But it is black privilege. There's privilege in many things. Whether it's race, gender, sex, nationality, occupation, hobby, etc. For example, Doctors have the privilege of having their medical opinion respected and taken into consideration. Your average Joe doesn't have that privilege. That's not to say it's unreasonable for people to respect a doctors medical opinion, I'm simply using it as an indisputable example. A mechanic had the privilege of being able to work in their car without having to pay someone to do it. Privileges are very common.

Everyone has privilege in one way or another. Black people do have this privilege. You see it here in your example where they can do something racist without any repercussions. White people can't do that, thus, black people have the privilege to do certain racist things without problems. And this isn't like an isolated event. This happens all the time (but to be clear, I think a vast majority of people, including Black people, are not racist, we're talking about just a fraction of Black people, here).

There was another incident on the show Big Brother, recently. In a prior season, a white man won the game and at the end he was implied to be racist, sexist, and even age-ist (agist?) for putting up a man of color, a woman, and a comparatively older guy up for eviction. In this most recent season, all the black people formed an alliance of specifically black people with the specific intent to evict everyone who was not black (and this was in-secret, so their intentions were not known known the other house members). They successfully did it, they evicted all the non-black people and at the end where they all talk about the season, instead of being condemned, they were praised for it. I know it's not pretty, I know many people don't like to hear it, but this is black privilege.
