Anonymous(30-35)+1 yPatriarchy. It’s the only thing that works long term.
People think that feminism, matriarchy, equality etc. Haven’t already been tried. They have, multiple times. Every single time they either collapsed, got invaded and taken over by a patriarchal culture, or were simply outbred.
Civilisations move through cycles. When times are hard and people are struggling to survive they almost always start as patriarchal by necessity. The patriarchal rules we see as outdated were created out of necessity. Without them the culture would not have been stable.
Generation after generation they improve until they reach a time of plenty, and then they get rid of the old values and rules believing them to be no longer necessary. In fact because they live in such comfort and are so far removed from the nature of the world they believe that they were never necessary at all. As if they were completely random. It was those old values that got them here though.
The long term success of a culture really depends on two things:
1) The position on natalism vs anti-natalism
2) The strength of the men
For a culture to sustain itself long term it needs (it’s own) children and strong men to defend it. People who’ve lived in comfort don’t understand the need for these things. So they support the mass immigration of people from patriarchal cultures with high birthrates and masculine men. That’s how it always goes.00 Reply

+1 yI think it will become clearer and clearer that bigotry is terribly unproductive and irrational, and people will get with the program. But then once we are truly equal, people will just do what they prefer, which will statistically be a milder/looser version of what we have historically seen;
- Men taking leadership positions and dominating thing-oriented fields.
- Women taking support roles and dominating people-oriented fields.
There will definitely be exceptions and nobody will be butthurt about it. We will just get to work in the most efficient way possible; doing what we feel like doing.00 Reply

It's true but i dont like it if i'm being honest. I'm not bashing women by saying that. I think like what happens if i have a daughter sent off to war. She's not shot clean or treated like a POW. instead she is gang raped by enemy soldiers or terrorists that dont hold our values. That shit bothers the hell out of me, dont like it at all. though some of the best snipers in history were women so that says something! lol

You're not bashing women at all. What you said is perfectly valid. We're definitely not built like men, so imagine how quickly we'd get mowed down on the battlefield. But it already hits too close to home with the issue of transgender athletes.

You'd be surprised maybe by how many women would get offended by my basic observations on basically the whole history of warfare. They always RAPED and Pillaged. I dont think I could handle my daughters going through that. probably send them into hiding to Cananda, just being honest.

I'm not surprised, though it does bother me. They refuse to use basic logic and choose to act on their emotions. Pretty normal for girls to be irrational, myself included, but not the way that the leftist females are.

@t-8900 I agree with you, I think we can learn to treat each other as equal individuals while still recognizing our differences. I wouldn't want to be on a battlefield frankly because I'd be treated like you said, an object to humiliate and dominate and not equal to a man

+1 yYou will never have true equality, as there will always be bigotry, racism sexism, homophobia, religious shit etc.
ideally we should be intelligent enough to realise gender becomes irrelevant if the decision making process is good.
if you have a company, you want the best people irrespective of gender, sexuality, ethnicity.
same if you are having surgery, you want the best surgeon, consultant, medical team etc. You don’t care if it’s headed by a black lesbian Muslim woman, as long as she is the best person for the job.
Same with the members of Parliament ( in case of the UK), you want people dedicated to the country and not their own pocket etc,
these days artificially having a bias towards one gender or the other is stupid, as both have proven they can be good and bad.10 ReplyCommunism. A boot stamping down on one's head can be on top of a male or female.
Ideally though, I'd want things to go back to the 90s and 2000s in term of gender relations. Women can be allowed to do whatever they want, as long as they are WORTHY of it, and don't whine and bitch their way to the top. This same rule should apply to everyone. No diversity quotas, no feminism, no affirmative action, no wokeness, no nepotism, no favoritism. Just be the best person for the job and have the right people skills and you can succeed. We've literally regressed in society since 2011.10 ReplyNone of the above,,, men will always be men
Women want to be on top and there is nothing called true equality
Lot of things are bias which include humans themselves
When a girl says I want to die a lot of people ask the reason and try to support her best they can
When a guy says the same he is mocked with words like do it now I dare you can't do it ans you are just saying that for attention and shit
So you see we can't even be same ourselves in the same situation how do you expect any true equality in a situation like that
Well when my ex wife said she wanted to die even random strangers supported her when I said I wanted to die people just laughed and suggested me innovative ways to die and of course the usual mocking name calling and insults
So you get my point00 Reply- 620 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yIn all of humanities history there has not been one matriarchy. And equality is just not possible. People are not equal and just the suggestion people are is disgusting. This puts a lazy lecherous slob on the same level as a single parent who worked 2 jobs and got a college degree…it promotes victim hood while denigrating effort.

+1 yno such thing as equality. men and women each have different roles and work best when they compliment eachother not compete

10 Reply Matriarchy. I can't help but notice that the divorce rate is over 50%, and 53%of households are now single mother households.

They probably consider it, but they play on being able to control the next humanity in the cycle if they can live on another planet with success from technology.
It could also be greed - Mars is next to a massive asteroid belt which has interesting implications since asteroids are rich with resources - +1 y
It would matter not, observe colonialism throughout human history, when colonies became self sufficient they rebelled, I believe the same would happen with Mars if it would become self sufficient and no longer needed Earth to continue
- +1 y
You'll probably get something like that seriously
"We don't need those Earthians"
"Why do they decide our laws and economy? We should be able to do what we want!"
Human desire for freedom and self-governance transcends technology

01 ReplyThere has never been a Matriarchy in history. I doubt we will see one in the future. I suspect Matriarchies would fall under their own weight. True Equality is not possible with the current state of feminism.
