Well there it is guys. they are really to shoot to kill...  Charlie Kirks response is a bit baffling too. its not an obvious "no we shouldn't kill people we disagree with because thats wrong!" its "no we shouldn't do that because it lets them win" or some bullshit like that...

I don’t fear self controlled gun owners. I’m an American registered independent who thinks the two party system is broken. You want to own a gun because it makes you feel safer from the problems of the world, ok. In America, that’s allowed. If you want to own a gun with the intent to hurt people because the internet has you fired up, or people around you get you fired up, or news outlets fire you up, I’m not on board. I don’t think that people would even really make a dent in this country if they tried using rifles and small arms to attack it, but I’m still against them trying. I mean we have one of the most sophisticated militaries in history, and that’s where a majority of the budget goes thanks to the right. So I’m not sure what they are so angry about since the government has been split about 50/50 for a while now. Gerrymandering plays a big role in this as far as I can tell. Pennsylvania alone is horribly gerrymandered and it’s not like the left did that on its own, our state politics are predominantly run by a strong right wing group. So angry Trumpsters who are angry because they think Trump losing was a steal is kind of silly. I’ve talked to lawyers who oversaw cases in Pa and 99% of the lawsuits had no merit even to be heard. I mean that’s an incredible number considering all of the judges that were appointed by Trump and the certainty that the election was stolen.

But anyways, yes this country has major issues. Yes both sides are guilty of causing problems. Is the answer to try and organize a grass roots militia to overthrow the government? In my opinion, no. We have amazing freedoms in this country that are usually not appreciated unless you travel outside of it. Read all you want about whatever, but until you see other parts of the world, and see how bad things can be, the appreciation for what America is can be hard to keep in your head. Especially with news outlets radicalizing people who are just eager for any kind of demon to hate for the problems of the world.

That’s my rant on the subject.

I've always believed that's the problem with American gun culture. If you brainwash people in to thinkimg you need guns to protect yourselves from tyranny and oppression etc sooner or later someone will decide to go on a shooting spree. It only takes one delusional moron to get pissed off at a facebook post to feel it's time to be a hero and use his gun to save America.

The only time I would ever use a gun is to protect my own well being and my family's well being. For example if an intruder broke into my home. Other than that there's ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO FIRE A WEAPON. These gun happy nuts are going to end up seriously hurting or killing someone just because of differing view points. That's no reason to resort to such violence.

well i alwas was somewhat against the second amendment and a broad population owning weapons. but i seriously wonder, what needs to happen so that people actually take action. like why are those weapon oners such bitches that never make use of that right they so vigurously support? like go take your weapons and fight then.

i mean i live in germany. people don't have weapons here XD i don't give a fuck. but if you're of the opinion that the population needs weapons in case a corrupt government is taking control, then why do you not fucking use the weapons when you're saying yourself that this is currently happening? xD

Kirk's answer was great, and you asking this question is evidence to his point. It's things like this that provoke people, that alienate the other side, the hope is that they do something violent so that you can justify being violent against them. Anything they say or do is demonized and used to paint them poorly (and that's again why you're here seizing on anything you can), but violence is the juicy morsel the other side is really looking for. These are people being agitated, but it's the other side who are the agitators, and it's the agitators want to be attacked in order to self-fulfill their beliefs.

You'd better hope the leading thought process never leans this way. The minute your average right winger starts seeing where you push the politics as a threat, the outcome is going to be a lot worse than some cities with a bit of traffic trouble or some burned out car lots. Luckily for you the vast majority of Americans are even keeled and overwhelmingly tolerant. Your party spent a long time pushing, and testing that tolerance. Eventually you will see the end of it. We're all human, after all.
