People who believe that shit know nothing about guns and have never fired one. Their knowledge of guns is from watching action movies. Even the greatest marksman couldn't guarantee an ear lobe shot.
In the movies, the cops don't have to shoot the bad guy. They just have to shoot the gun out of his hand. And it's very easy to do in movies. In real life they teach the cops to shoot for the largest body mass. Because even that isn't a slam dunk.

It was an assassination attempt, so clearly it was staged. Even though Crooks failed, he did do prior reconnaissance on the site to stage an assassination attempt. There are also other locations from which other shooters could have been located from concealment. The Secret Service detail obviously also left certain areas unguarded that should have been gaurded. So sure, it was a staged event by people who meant to kill the President, just as the January 6th was a staged event to create a narrative that Trump was running a coup d'état on himself. There are a lot of bad actors that want to do bad things to Trump, and they do conspire against him, and stage action against him. That's something that happens often.
They're calling the shooting staged. That's the same as making it look like Trump supporters stormed the capitol when it was the left dressed like Trump supporters If the attempt was STAGED, that would've meant that the whole thing was faked! There was no faking!!
@FunkyMonkee Just because an event is staged, doesn't mean it is "faked". To be staged is to arranged or set up for a specific purpose. An element of the event can be performative with the intent to deceive and create false impressions, but that is not necessary for something to be “staged”.
So with the assassination attempt, Crooks did surveillance of the area. An aerial drone was found in his car. He was spotted with a range finder. He scouted the position where he planned to take the shot from. He staged his role in that assignation attempt. That’s not to say there were not other actors in the attempt. There was speculation of additional shooters, who Crook may have been a decoy for. You also had Secrete Service members who were appointed by the Biden administration to oversee the event and manage the security detail who made blatant mistakes. So there were likely corrupt individuals who played their part from the inside to neglect certain aspects of security and leave an opening for the assassination attempt. This is why six Secrete Service agents tasked with protecting the President were suspended without pay. They were staged in their roles by the Biden administration to facilitate a security failure. So yes, the assassination attempt was staged, but Trump was a candidate at the time, not the President. Biden was in control. Is there an element of deception? Sure, the Secret Service acted like the situation was completely under control and that they were there to protect Trump, when the evidence infers otherwise. There was a very visible shooter Crooks with less then desirable equipment and skill to complete his task who got unalived. There was potential for a more skilled shooter to take a shot from concealment and escape undetected in the chaos. A real assassination attempt occurred, and a real people died, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t stage, nor does it confirm everything happened as reported without deception.
@FunkyMonkee When it comes to January 6th, it's a fact that there were known ANTIFA and BLM members at the “storming of the capital”. There is documented video/photographic evidence which match facial recognition of individuals at ANTIFA and BLM rallies earlier in the year. They individuals that are documented in the ANTIFA web. There is audio evidence of them instigating violence in the crowd. There were also known federal agents who were there as provocateurs. There is video evidence of left-wingers dressing up in Trump clothing. There are countless hours of ANTIFA and BLM having video conferences on the internet planning the event months before they participated in it. So yes the January 6th event was also staged well in advance with the intent to deceive. None the less, people were still in the capital on that day. Property was damaged. So a real event did happen, even though it was staged.

There's also video of Ray Epps instigating the crowd to rush the capitol! As for the people that got in, except for those few that broke in, they were calmly walking around in the building and there's loads of video of the police and security guards ESCORTING them through the building and even unlocking certain doors for them to get into!!

I was on my phone and in A LOT of pain. What I meant to say was that: I heard that it was actually the teleprompter that was hit, and his ear was cut by a shard of it. We only saw his ear bandaged later and a nasty cut by a shard of the teleprompter would have resulted in the same. We never actually saw a picture of his ear before he got it bandaged.
