I guess fat people shouldn't get treatment, neither should smokers, people with the flu, people who injured themselves due to negligence, or anyone else who needs medical for something that is theoretically preventable. Do you realize how sick and twisted that is? You're so afraid of a virus with a 99.97% survival rate for anyone who isn't already almost about to die, that you've been turned into a psychopath. The funny thing about people like you, is your entire mindset and behavior is predicated on the idea that we can actually end the pandemic and get rid of covid forever. You are angry because you feel people who do not want the covid vax, are preventing us from getting rid of covid for good. Covid is here forever. Just like every upper respiratory virus with animal incubators, it's impossible to eradicate it, even with vaccines, just like we can't get rid of the flu and even strains like swine flu are still around over 10yrs later. I'm also not sure if yo are aware that the covid vax is a "leaky" vaccine and doesn't neutralize the virus. You can still catch and spread the virus, you just don't get covid-19 which is the inflammatory response caused by the virus. Anyone with the vaccine is effectively an asymptomatic spreader, and is actually therefore a greater threat to society than those who are unvaccinated because at least they know if they are infected because they will have symptoms. The only person you are protecting by getting the covid vaccine is yourself. So if you believe it works, and you have the vaccine, then it shouldn't matter what others do. You are safe.
The issue is not that anti-covid vax people are uninformed, it's actually you who is uninformed and irrational hence the reason you even suggest such ludicrous things like this which would have no net benefit anyway. You clearly have zero understanding of anything related to this virus or how vaccines work.

There is more to it, some reason why they want to keep legal protections in place that we just don't know about.
I'm effectively turned off of it forever due to the sheer amount of propaganda and coercion that's surrounding it, but yeah, removing the legal immunity from the pharmaceutical companies would be a good start to repairing the obliterated trust I have towards it. But I'm not going to even consider taking it until we have that, at least 10 years of data showing flawless results regarding adverse side-effects, and the insane propaganda surrounding the disease itself needs to stop. Then, I'll start considering taking the shot.

If Covid theoratically.. But if enough people are vaccinated you can have herd immunity which stops the virus from spreading, hence the reason vaccination isn't a personal choice.

Vaccination makes the body recognize the foreign antigen in a manner that previous exposure to the pathogen does so it doesn't encourage new variants any more than letting the virus rip and everyone getting it does.
Except that when you let the virus rip it gives it way more chances to mutate into new variants that vaccination and previous exposure are less effective at preventing (not withstanding that vaccination is more effective at preventing infection than previous exposure is).
And we can say that it's over when the death rate of the year in question is statistically indifferent from that of previous years.

The mRNA vaccine makes the body produce a protein that recognizes viral proteins versus previous exposure causing the body to produce said protein. Either way, the virus has to evolve new coat proteins to infect someone who has had the vaccine or previous exposure.
And no it doesn't have to “be the same”, the difference has to be statistically insignificant which you can determine by looking at how many people have died over the course of each week of the previous ~5 years and get a mean and standard deviation and from that you get an expected range of variation. When the death rate falls and stays within the expected variation you can say it's over and covid has reached an equilibrium with its' host (as pandemics have done before).
Now the question becomes how do we stop this from happening again?

Maybe if you read the full NIH report on the gain of function research, you'd know that the viruses being studied in that lab weren't closely related enough to COVID-19 to be the progenitor of it. Also, pangolins aren't exactly good animals for pathogen research; they are available in small numbers and their physiology hasn't been well studied.
