His problem was being too grand , too much hate for the Jews. If he would have fought one country at a time instead of every country at once he could have won. He was building fighters , Bombers , Battle Ships, Experimental weapons, Subs, quality tanks instead of more tanks. If he would have worked with Japan and planned mutual attacks by working together and if he would have used the Jewish people instead of using resources to kill them , he might have had a Nuclear Bomb before US and that would have been a game changer.

His urges and mistrust of Generals was his down fall.

If he would have put most of his resources in building Subs instead of tanks and battle ships m America could not have invaded Europe

If he would have attacked at Dunkirk and wiped England soldiers out, he could have invaded England and won

If he would have invested most resources in Bombers , he could have destroyed all of Russia's tanks and captured Russia

If he would have stopped after capturing Europe and waited on more males to be born, he could have won

If we ignore his misguided ideology, there probably were things he could have done to hold on to his gains after a few initial conquests. Perhaps stay neutral with Russia for a bit longer, then wear other allies down and eventually offer peace terms without completely defeating Britain. There is a myriad of mistakes I don't even know about that he perhaps could have avoided.
But the issue is that the reasons for his downfall were directly related to his ideology. To him, any major capitalistic country was a puppet of a Jewish international conspiracy. Communism was a misguided Jewish utopia. Neither could be really tolerated in his world. And even his own superior race could not achieve material self reliance- so he thought - unless he won more land in the east for them. This was a direct result of his vision. He thought Germans could not prosper without expansion. Soon he needed access to Russian raw materials to sustain the war effort. He thought he needed other nation's land and manual labor. That is why he first didn't want to kill Jews, just move them to Madagascar. He wanted their stuff more than their corpses.
But once the scale of the war was insanely large, his ideology was the reason he could not keep part of his conquest and give up the rest. He needed more and more, to the point where his goals became simply unachievable. At various points he probably could have stopped, but he saw taking the next step as an inevitable necessity.
And I seriously doubt even if he could win the war and have what remains of his enemies offer peace terms allowing him to keep most of Europe, that that multinational moloch could survive his death. Complete transformation of all Europeans to regular German speaking citizens of the German empire would take far too long to be sustainable. Nationalistic tendencies would never really stop. As soon as his followers would relax the pressure, separatist tendencies would resurface in full force.

Based upon those choices, I would think the Luftwaffe would be right way to go, but it's all just history nerd fantasies.

The more I learn about WW2, the more I realize that the Axis powers honestly didn't have a chance in hell at winning. They just didn't, even if you ignore everything but the financial aspect. Economically speaking, they were surrounded and were slowly being choked out. When you factor in population sizes, Hitler's poor choices, Allied bombing of Axis supply lines and factories; there wasn't much they could have done to win.

Yes but US had hardly no military. England's was outdated. Basically Navy was US and England's strengths. Neighboring countries had no defense. France's was the outdated. I mean most air forces were bi-planes from World War 1. Most world leaders were liberals that spend money on social issues not defense. They all thought World War 1 was the last war. There's basically nothing Germany could've done differently to actually win the war. Prolonged it maybe, but they were severely outgunned and outsupplied between fighting the British, who more or less owned the Atlantic, and the Russians who had a lot more meatsacks to throw away than the Germans did, not to mention both of those countries were being heavily supplied and supported at sea by the US Navy even before the US formally entered the war. Even with outfighting their enemies on both fronts with a ratio of roughly 2:1 according to allied commanders, it wasn't enough. Frankly even 3:1 or 4:1 probably wouldn't have mattered either, because the difference in industrial output especially with the US factored in is staggering. Even if the victims of the Holocaust had been used exclusively to bolster the labor force, it still wouldn't have mattered in the long run.

The one way I could see the war playing out much more favorably for the Germans would've been if they had instead negotiated with the western powers to unite against the Russian communists, though even that is unlikely because Neville Chamberlain had the spine of a jellyfish, and Franklin Roosevelt would've been just as likely to join Stalin against the allies in that scenario.
