I don't know, I've never hated or disliked black people, in fact I've have some close friends of mine that I've met through work that have become some of my closest friends even though I am not black.
Small minded, passed on from ignorant parents/family/friends/community, encountered bad experiences with blacks in the past. Also, no one on earth likes each other, sure there are a lot of blacks that don’t like Asians/white/Indian people and Indians that hate Chinese and white people…etc
Because every group has to work extremely hard to achievew any success but the black peoples want to get free monies by accusing others of being mena to them
Who would pay fo reparations in the US? Would it only be the whites who were here from pre civil war era or would it be all whites? Would aisans or hispanics pay for it?
how about black immigrants that just arrived? would thwey get them reparations too even though they just arrived?
I don't buy into this premise one bit. You have racists, sure. But the vast majority of people I know don't give a lick about race. It's never once ever brought up.
Lol lies, its brought up a lot. I was talking about a nativeeamerican art being white washed. And the person did nothing but talking about black people. I said we are talking about indigenous art, not black people. He kept going, we get brought up even when we aren't the subject, just because YOU don't see it, doesn't mean its not happening.

You mentioned an anecdote, which represents nothing. I've had racist words thrown at me too. doesn't mean the vast majority or even half the population are racist.
Lets qoute you again: people that "YOU know" The majority of the population may be "racist" but they are colorist, prejudice and stereotype us to the moon and back. Its known in every part of Asian thAT IFf you are dark with a big nose you are ugly, dirty and a criminal thats why they don't let their skin tan and try to reduce features like that unless Asians want to live up that stereotype. Shall i tell you about the korean commercial where she put her black boyfriend in the washer, because he was dirty and he came out korean? People are super racist and colorist in Scotland, south africa, india, france There are pretty of others where your skin color plays a large part of who you are. Yet not many people think like this? Half the world thinks like this.. That having dark skin, "black features" means you are trash. If I wanted to leave the US. I couldn't find a place on earth where my skin did not matter.
All's you mentioned is people's insecurities which lead to self hate. If the majority of people were actually racist, trust me there would be no representation under the law, nor would there even be any conversation allowed. We'd still have Jim Crow, there would have been no speeches by MLKJ, there would have been no Malcolm X, there would have been no acceptance of any non-white immigrants, there would be no President Obama, there would be no social welfare safety nets for PoC. The vast majority of people are not racists. You listen to a vocal minority and you let it ruin your day... in your case your life. Because you harbor and internalize that toxicity. You know how you deal with racists? Ignore and avoid them or get their asses fired. But don't ever fall down because of their shit because that's what they are, shit. I fell in love with a black girl once and she said things similar about how she's not beautiful and she can't compete with a white girl and it broke my f*cking heart tbh. When you've lived a life like mine you certainly see race very differently. One of my best friends is a Nigerian by the way, another is a Mexican, and another is an Iranian, and I happen to be Italian/Irish.
People change what they do not understand, period. That has never changed. Fear leads to misunderstanding which leads to anger and resentment. Did you know that biologically speaking our little chimp brains have issues being introduced to more than 150 people? It's crazy but true. Outgroup and ingroup are a thing. You have white and black people that get along well because I hey grew up as friends or neighbors. Then you have others who loved more isolated loved and they have more hate
Such is the nature of our human brains. Lectures don't help but exposure does. There's a better way then this type of approach being taken.

Because people are mad haters who literally just find random black in poverty and immediately assumed all black all homeless which is a coincidence because I seen a couple of non black people living on the street too.
Birds of a feather flock together. It's not right but that's the way it's always been. If you're white and in a neighborhood that's mostly black, Mexican, Asian, etc. they look at you like "what is this white bastard doing here?"
Just get over it and nevermind stupid people. They are not with your time and every time they make you mad, you are giving them power over you.

You are aware that in the past jobs would not hire minorities and college admissions would skip over minorities until affirmative action came in and leveled the playing field, contrary to popular belief affirmative action doesn’t give anyone a leg up.

They scream how much they want to be equal yet refuse to get rid of affirmative action. They are so inferior it’s the only way they can compete even though those conditions don’t exist anymore

@canthelpyousorry No, affirmative action absolutely is discrimination, and the people that put it in place even argued as such, presupposing that equity is the norm, and that discrimination must be enacted to enforce equity. Well that's bullshit. Inequity is a natural phenomenon; no two groups of any kind are equal in any outcome virtually ever. Even the same person is not equal to themselves across time.
Even if I pretended it wasn't, and also played along with your delusion that outcomes should be, or have been made perfectly equal, nobody actually wants to change it even when the pendulum swings the other way either.
A good example is girls in schools. Used to be girls didn't do so well, so they were given affirmative action programs, and now they're in university at a rate of 60/40, and yet people still jealously guard the policy.

I am Taiwanese, and I have experienced some racism and harassment depending on where it is I'm going. It just depends on place, and history of the people of said place.
