I don't think so.
He didn't kill anyone. Selfishness, group think and mob mentality did.

It's not dangerous to have a special guest at your concert. It's dangerous to have 50,000 idiots in the same room.

Should he have seen it happening and done something about it? Of course. But where were the event organizers, venue staff, police and security? Where were the managers of both his show and the venue?

Crowd control isn't the artists job. There are a lot of other people to blame.

But at the end of the day, most of the 50,000 idiots in the crowd ganged up to crush 8 people to death so they should be three inches closer to the stage. You can't put one man on trial for that, especially if he wasn't even one of them.

If you want to blame someone, blame the society and culture in America of rampant selfishness, brainlessness and greed worship. Put the media on trial. Put the parents on trial. Stop pandering to everybody's feelings and go back to punishing kids when they break the rules or act like they are all that matters.

Put BLM on trial for selling the idea that your right to life gives you the right to loot and burn and be violent, and attack anyone who doesn't cow tow to you being first in line.

If I were on the stage, I would have been paying attention to the people in the crowd, seen it happening and stopped the show, turned the lights on and said people need to back up. But you don't get up there by paying attention and caring about other people. That's the real problem. People have been brought up to worship selfish greed and rampant stupidity because it makes the masses easy to control. The politians and the media don't care if some of the sheep trample eachother in the process.

If I were in the crowd, honestly, I would have climbed over the rail or on top of people till I got to it so I didn't get crushed.

It's the event staffs responsability to keep people safe, not the artist, but you can never underestimate the damaging potential of stupid people in large groups.

The jackass on the stage didn't kill those people. Selfish greedy mob mentality did. And you can't put that in jail.

I've been saying it for ten years. People need to wake the fuck up and think for themselves. They are being lead to their own slavery and slaughter and they'll bring the rest of us down with them by empowering the wolves who fatten them up and scare them off the cliff.

I don't think anything would come of blaming the artist. It really wasn't his fault.

We need to address the real problem which is that people are so selfish and so stupid they will literally crush someone else to death to get an inch closer to the dick waving idiots they worship like gods.

But shit, nobody wants to do that so I say let it happen again. That's Darwinism. Smart productive people don't go to those kind of shows and you don't see this crap at anything but bad SJW rallies, rap or EDM events. It doesn't happen at Taylor Swift or James Taylor.

Let people learn for themselves or let Darwinism step in to save the rest of us. That's all we can do. I don't see the benefit of making the rest of us pay to feed and house the one idiot on the stage while the 50,000 idiots in the crowd go do the same shit in the streets and get released the next day to vote for Biden.

Negligent homicide or involuntary manslaughter seem fitting, and this clearly fits within their respective definitions. From what I read, he was personally involved in the planning of the whole event, so he's even responsible for creating the unsafe venue in the first place. (which adds to the creepy factor for those who think the whole thing was actually evil).

He heard and saw people getting killed and hurt and continued to perform and to hype up the crowd (calling for them to "rage") rather than calm them down. And in my opinion, he even attempted to justify the carnage when he said something along the lines of, nobody's a bystander when they come to my concert. I'd have to look up the video again for an exact quote but I don't wanna.

It can't be argued that he didn't know what was going on, because at one point, he stops and asks "who wants me to stop the show?" So he either heard the crowd yelling, or his security informed him. Yet, he continued; even singing "to" one of the bodies as it was carried through the crowd and he watched.
100% worth at least filing charges and letting this get looked at under a legal microscope.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm shocked to hear what happened to these innocent people.
I'm sure I read something about people being stabbed with opioids?
A lot of people are printing different things.
Anyways you can't really control crowds. But the event organisers have a responsibility to make sure they organise it in such a way that in the event of an emergency they can get a handle on things. This was clearly not the case.

I'm really sorry those people lost their lives. But I don't think you can actually hold Travis accountable.
Yes he was the headlining act but his role is to perform.

He has a team that deal with all of these things. As I mentioned above. They're the ones that could be held responsible at least for the improper health and safety.

Also could no one have not specifically got up on the stage?
Why was noone near enough to travis to have communication via phone or text, that could have alerted him.

We all have a responsibility for each other and the world expects one person to be held accountable in these situations but what were the crowd doing?

I will say this though. Its feeling very "odd" that things like this happen.
Im not a conspiracy theorist but all I can say is peoples behaviour is getting progressively selfish.
That's really what we need to be looking into.

Various factors to consider:

- Travis eventually did stop playing and trying to gradually control the crowd as that's what he was told to do.

- Travis should've just stopped playing immediately soon as he realized what was happening.

- The organizers should've prepared for a medical emergency as Astroworld had a few deaths caused only just a few years ago. They had not prepared and were lacking on medical supplies to use

- The organizers should not had overcrowded the pit.

- Use fences next time, so people can get out if they're not being able to breath

- Some of the deaths were possibly caused by an overdose due to pills laced in fentanyl

They provide security and entry and sell the ticket he's just the talent.

He didn't do anything wrong. The people who pushed forward and rushed the stage did. Pushing forward in a crowed pretty much creates a wave made of people. The guy is simply a easy target. So he is going to catch all the backlash for the incident because it happened during his show.

Usually the city, concert venue kind of handles crowd control and the numbers... barriers... how many people can go here or there.

I don't know the specifics... unless the singer did something to thwart the crowd control measures that had been set up.

In all fairness with how some laws work then yeah. Like if you know a person going to commit suicide and don't do anything about it there's heavy consequences for it. I don't know. Never knew how ridiculous concert culture was until this.
