#1. No, because the prosecution had zero case. So assuming that nobody planted fake evidence, the outcome would be the same.
#2. If we're going to go down the road of saying random white people are responsible for the crimes of other random white people, then why not round up random white liberals and have them found guilty of crimes we think other white people did? Just to make life fair and balanced. Oh, you probably don't think that's a good idea. It's also not a good idea to round up random white people who happen to be conservative and punish them for stuff some other white person did.
#3 I bet the same prosecutor who tried to railroad this guy was okay with railroading black people in the past. But now he wants you to think he's a champion of whatever social warrior justice ideas that are popular right now. Sort of like Kamila Harris who is infamous & despised by black people in Okaland, california for how she helped railroad innocent black people into prison but now she pretends to be some kind of champion for minority rights.

I made my decision before I saw colors of people. didn't change.

If person had same character and such but diff color, same result for me.

these issues are tricky, slippery slopes. What would have happened if Trevon got the other guys gun and shot him... in self defense? that may be tricky but I was on his side in the trial and would be if he shot the other guy.

We really do have to examine our biases even if we don't like it. It isn't so much color to me but values, character.

I'd really like to see a large group of black people armed to the teeth... marching down portland streets.. to protect buildings from riots of the left. Lets see if we've evolved relationally...

There would be no trial. Because if he were black and had crossed state lines with a rifle, he wouldn't have been able to hi-five police and go on to shoot 3 people, killing 2 of them. He would've been DOA. And anyone that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

Self defense is self defense, regardless of skin color. He still would've been found Not Guilty, but the media would've been less likely to dogpile him if he was black. (And I say "less likely" because they don't give a crap about race or anything else. In my optimistic view I would hope that justice is blind to skin color. However, I think there are so many other factors. Like many have said, I think media and political stances all contribute to keeping racism alive in the U. S. . They gaslight the situation every time things seem to improve. I would hope that a black person would be found innocent of all charges as well. Unfortunately, these “What if…” type questions are all hypothetical. I do feel that I saw a justice done where Rittenhouse was tried by his peers. 12 jurors deliberated for days and came to this decision. No hung jury. No mistrial. It gives me hope the system works.

I think if he were black he would still have been found not guilty on all accounts. Only difference would be that the BLM terrorists wouldn’t have threatened to riot again which is what started this whole mess in the first place. Media and society can speak all they like about race and privilege and all that but the legal sustem is a bit more complicated.
There's a thing called precedent, as in one case can influence future cases.
If he was found guilty for legitimate self defense just because he's white you can forget anyone ever beating a similar case later.

Anyone who has attempted to look at the footage, or followed the trial would agree with this.

However, media misinformation has lead to a lot of misunderstandings of the events.
It is simply too politicized for such events to be spoken about truthfully
