Probably because the guys were black lives matter protestors and Kyle Rittenhouse has right leaning views which obviously conflicts with black lives matter since black lives matter is a liberal ideology and it is centered around race. The matter of how blacks are treated in the west is the whole purpose of black lives matter. So even if the guys he shot were white the whole situation still has to do with race.
