I think I figured this out as I was tripped over the same issue. There's some videos by AA activists you can watch to understand the thinking. Realize... people see things differently based upon their experience and perspective.
I agree with you, but here's how I think they think.
* Racist because: if it was a group of black men with guns guarding a place, treatment would be totally different and world opinion. [They might be right, although I see it as an issue of character and purpose not color].
* Racist because a black man shooting anyone like that would be convicted (assumption). I don't agree.
* Their perspective is one of "self defense" opposite of yours. e. g. trayvon was defending and killed wrongfully, Aubrey was defending and killed, rodney king was abused, as was G. F. The person who is "down" is considered the one that is offended, that be at least the 2nd guy kyle shot. They see him more as a hero to stop a shooter/killer.
* It was a blm "protest" that turned riot again and by orientation, these guys were on the other side.
maybe there's other angles to it I've missed.
I'd say the main problem I have is that a teenager showed up to a tense situation with a gun he was ready to use. It doesn't matter if you are fly a MAGA flag or a Black Panther flag, bringing a gun you intend to use invites escalation pretty quickly. And then it was followed by people rooting for him as a patriot.
Otherwise, I do actually think the verdict was just. He was shown acting in self-defense rather than attack, as I understand. And the escalation is still the fault of the escalators. In the same way it doesn't matter what the spouse said before a DV case, only who committed the violence itself. So I can't sit behind the narrative that he did it because he was just some racist kid who wanted to knock some black heads.
As for the actions of the attackers themselves, it could be considered, but I don't consider it 100% relevant. If it was deemed murder by Kyle, who they were before that doesn't change the charge.
But yeah, this wasn't nearly as contentious as something like George Zimmerman's case not even going to trial. Especially given the actions of Zimmerman AFTER, as opposed to before.

Women movement for more than equal rights. Wanting gov't to find them a job and get them raises instead of getting it themselves.
Education , teaching kids to hate America and any authority figure
Riots , Democrats encourage riots when they are not in majority. They use a crisis to gain power.
So , Kyle was white and had a gun. He used a gun in self defense. They don't want guns used at any time. No hunting , no target shooting , and no self defense.
The criminal actions of the victims of Kyle Rittenhouse is literally irrelevant to him killing them. Someone being a bad person does not give you the right to murder them or provide justification for self defense. We live in a society of law and order and that applies to us equally.
because it's irrelevant. he went to (what he thought) was a BLM protest with an assault weapon and began terrorizing people with it. a case of self-defense would apply to them, as well. if this was a black kid running from a white mob... certain people's support would be reversed.
